NFS World Offline Developement Thread

The CMD window that appears when starting the game says that the file "empty" is fake ("FAKE -> www/nfsw/Engine.svc/empty"). I've already restarted my computer, run NFSW several times, replaced the empty file with a backup empty file, changed it to an .xml file, changed it back, and replaced 0-host. CMD Still thinks that "empty" is a fake file. Last time I was playing, I took a screenie. Do those break the game?

Well, I let it run it's loading screen, and CMD keeps trying to post the heartbeat file. I've replaced it, but nothing is new.

I've also bought the Bugatti Veyron, and it adds an E class level 0 "Unlocalized String Unlockalized String" car to my garage (this was when I could play it). I bought a second one, and it was still an Unlocalized String. Maybe that's why I can't get past the loading screen.

Wow, nice!

I like the parts put into Engine, Forced Induction, and Brakes that gives you 100% more power in those certain sections. I do hope there is one that does get released for the other three though (Transmission, Suspension, and Tires)

I've enabled cops in Free Roam and races. Just replace attributes.bin with the one in the .rar.

Unfortunately, they don't chase you as they're not programmed to do so, but programming that will probably require cracking the nfsw.exe, so for now, this is the most you'll get. I know some people wanted it anyway, so here it is.

There's actually no need to download and replace any file.Its quite simple .Go into your personas folder in the offline version and edit carslots.xml.You can find the car you want quite easily(Search for the OA if you had transferred it from the online version and the name of the car if you had bought it in the offline version).Once you find the car,just change the skill mod count from 5 to 6 :)
By the same way,its quite easy to change a car's class too since the offline version doesnt automatically change it once it goes past the threshold(Zonda F tuned to 800 will still show as class A)

P.S. Even i have no knowledge of all this.Just logic lol;)

I've browsed GEULACH's site and here's some interesting observations:
The 2013/05/02 patch supposedly has the Pagani Huayra.

The 2013/04/10 patch introduced the achievements but removed the leaderboards.

The 2012/11/13 patch supposedly had the Zero-Yon Nissan drag body.
