ok so here is my progress. I got the server up and running for sure(thanx to the vdo from page 14) but i can't get the client to see the server. I am trying to run the client from a windows vista machine. do i have to worry about ports or anything? i feel i'm so close that it's frustrating to not have it work. i think it might also have something to do with the webserver. since i don't know what any of the buttons do...i don't know that i have it setup right.

please can any one tell me why i get cannot conect to the server ????

it is the webserver after u launch ur client u no the dbmon login server all that crap after dekaron server is down loading open webman make sure ur ip is in it then just click the check box next to the red ??Web?? then minimize n open ur pserver connector n it should work

yhea i got it working. i was trying to run the client on another pc and it was not working at first. so then i tried runing the client from the same pc as server(not in the vm) and it worked so i took the client files from it and copied them to the other pc and all worked. so somehow when i made the chages for the ip on the other pc i must have messed it up. now it works great. now i just want to figure out how to use these gm commands to summon monsters and items. thanx again for posting this. It runs great...considering i only had 2 people playing. one on the other pc and one on the same as the host. no lag or issues. Now the fun of figuring out just how to change stuff....

And can i just ask what the default EXP rate is here.

What that error message means?:

4032: [Critical Error] SP_SIEGE_INFO_R CALL FAIL

and I can see the server at the p-server connector and can connect but when Im at the login screen it tells me: cant connect to the server...

pls help...I try this since 1and an half week...>.<:confused:

that error msg dosnt mean nething ti always does that did u change all the ips in data.pak its like 10 of em n did u change the ips in pserver connetor there is 2 of em that was my problem i didnt change all ip in data.pak wen u search 4 the ip after u change 1 click continue search

btw: does ne 1 no how to get t3 ?? i cant figure it out yet n i got evrything got 130 map working n 130+ weaps but i cant get space 2 work 4 some reason n e 1 no y ?

Okay but works it with mysql server and navicat for mysql ? or which program i need ?

dunno if mysql works but if u use sql 2000 sp4 it will work for sure.(if u use xp)
