Oh, well whatever, not many servers have it implemented was my point.

I've never seen a non-binaries server having it working... and for good reason too, there's a lot more to the system than I originally thought. I'm a little over half done and I've been working on it all day.

Mostly 5065 bins have them implmented... but also most msgservers.exe for 5065 are crap and do not have all the required things added.

All servers running the bins should have it implemented, since the functionality is already there and it takes no time at all to figure out how to trigger it.

Patch Highlights:

The Legend Arena:
The concept is similar to retail CO - players will receive 2 remote arena items from the market (Join/Quit).

The Arena is seperated by level groups (70-100, 100-120 and 120+). You must have 25 clear inventory spaces in order to participate.

By right clicking the 'Join' item from one of the major cities- you will be teleported to your arena room. An announcement will signal to the server that "someone" is waiting for a fight in one of the above level groups.

Once another player clicks their item- they will join you. Be careful though, if you have been waiting they may hit you instantly! So be prepared for battle right away.

The fight will continue until one person dies. Once this occurs both players are sent outside (the winner will be returned to their old location, whereas the loser will be placed at their cities spawn point).

If you disconnect to try and escape a fight you will receive a LOSS. Similarly, if you click the 'quit' button DURING a fight you will also receive a LOSS.

1 Arena Point is awarded to the winner of the fight. 10 Arena Points are award to all participants who complete 10 games (Players must either win, or die for this to take effect, leaving/disconnecting will not count towards this).

You may only fight in the arena 30 times per day. This may be subject to change. Each day at 00:00 this will be reset and you will be allowed to re-enter (will require you to relog after this time).

Arena Ranks:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

Prize Breakdown:
Once you collect enough "wins" you may trade your rank points for prizes. WARNING! If you spend your points your overall 'win' ranks will drop. Currently there are 5 prizes to be won:
  1. 5k VP
  2. 3x Stigma & Defense Potions
  3. A Garment Token (trade with a PM for any garment)
  4. 3 Days Heavens Blessing
  5. ??????? - Mystery Prize!!!
ANY attempted abuse of this (i.e entering / exiting over and over, or fighting your own characters for points) WILL be caught and the perpetrator/s WILL be punished. This is purely fun for you guys. Please respect that and enjoy it.

This is the first release of the arena, its primary focus is to ensure that it works while the server is under load without causing any issues, the next step is balancing which is being worked on as we speak.

Additionally:
The old market map has returned. The market will be moved around slightly to reflect the changes. Also- the OldMiner from TwinCity mine has been moved to the market. Finally, super glows will return to shields.

To avoid the "instant hit" thing you can do another trick.
Make a waiting room, where you are not able to PK or use any magic skills or city scrolls then, when another player joins, the system teleports them both in the battle map. In this way, you give them a chance to not be caught off guard.
If you want help with that, I'll speak with Janix over MSN and I'll explain him.

It's fine - I know how to do that. I just prefer it this way ^^, the player has to be on guard then. As long as the player entering has protection then it's ok.

Okay then, just wanted to give you a tip :)

There are much better methods to achieve this (than the method you suggested) if we ever did want to add a protection period before hand, but thanks anyway.

As of 10/01/2012:

Drop rates for Meteors, DragonBalls and +1s have been increased.

Voting has changed, it is now back to individual rewards.

Select 'vote' from the NPC (Luna in Twin City). Enter your account id and complete the Capcha (make sure you fill it in correctly.). The game will then check to make sure you have voted (simply wait in game for a minute or two for it to process your vote).

After your vote is verified you will see a message in the top left corner stating that you may claim a reward.

Proceed to claim one of the following:
1 hour x300% exp.
1 hour VIP hunting.
4k Virtue Points. (level 70 required.)

You must wait 12 hours before you can claim another reward. Each reward is account binding. Rewards may be subject to change based on player feedback.

Furthermore- VIP hunting also increases the droprate of items slightly more than usual- meaning you will gain optimal loot from hunting whilst you have VIP.

We also released a small patch to fix the following issues:

Summoned Guards now do the correct damage and work properly vs monsters/players (instead of being slow / useless).

Market stalls are all able to vend again as usual.

Date: 19/01/2012 @ approximately 1PM (server time).

VIP is now back as a donation reward.

If you are a VIP account, you gain access to a VIP map accessed from the market.

There are 3 Nix lvling guards there, where you can level your phoenix skill uninterupted.

Additionally, there are 2 NPCS.

VIPStorekeeper will sell you special VIP-ONLY items. For now, there are only 10 VIP garments (untradeable) which can be viewed here:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...].

More items may be placed here for purchase later.

The other NPC will teleport you to any major city, or some special locations such as wine zone, metzone, rebirth NPC, adventure map and some hunting spots.

As it is still early, I'm sure that more VIP features will be added in due course. These are the preliminary features.

---Additional Changes---
Ape City Snakeman spawn has been increased / fixed to make it closer to retails spawn per player request.

OldMiners gold error has also been fixed.

--Updated due to player feedback--.
VIPs will not be able to claim 2 hour vote rewards.
