20 is not really a problem. 24 are already not so stable/fast, beyond that .... well I really can`t recommend it.
30 and up is 6+ Physical Core territory.

Which account creator do you use to create your reff-accounts? I used to work with Disgusting Acc Creator but its not working well nowdays, ofc talking about creator with proxy.

The bot-routines themselves are the least of the CPU´s problems....
All this bot does is being a bit lighter on the RAM in between games by using the PVPNetConnect library instead of the Air-Launcher.
Sorry, but no matter which bots you use you will not magically make your CPU more capable :D

24 is already really really taxing for a normal quad i7, actually to the point that it becomes too unperformant on most systems.

If you want stable and fast 24-30+ VMs then, no matter which bot you use, you need at least a hexacore :)

Dunno, but it shows that the bot hasn't bought IP boost for any account for last two days. Is it just bugged and the website doesnt show, or I have fix something? I know it worked two days ago (atleast the account management showed it), but now it shows nothing.
