Is there any update, the guide is telling me v4.10 is out. should I just ignore for tbc anniversary content ?

People say there was an update and they are correct.
But when I ask, did they update they say no.

That is two updates behind and I posted that a few few days ago.

I did have a separate add-on, just for the guides previously. That would mean people can just update the add-on as much as I like and when they like. Because the guys wouldn’t be affected. That was nice and simple.

But people found extracting into add-ons too difficult. So instead of extracting a file to add-ons, they would extract the add-on inside another add-on inside another file. Then complain it doesn’t work.

So if you cause people found it so difficult extracting a separate add-on to add-ons. They want the guides added to the add-on.

That means I need to make a new file every single time.
I need to post a new link every single time.
Then people have to wait for the update every single time.

When previously they could just update the addon

Seeing the people that sell it, do not notify customers there is an update.

Also what guide and what version.

Well mine are not the Official Guides.
They are an import string, that is locked to the players account.

The ones I make are custom guides.

But people are free to support the developers and pay for the full guides. But that would be locked to their account only.

Also, how does the addon know what version of the guides there is? Seeing each guide a different version.
