Official 5165 FAQ/Question thread

I don't think it should be unstickied. This was my first source, and its small bugs everywhere really taught my a lot about debugging. It being a mostly complete source also allowed me to focus my efforts on programming small features like npcs (which taught me about conditionals and C#'s function-class-namespace hierarchy). Sure, it's a pretty bad source, but I don't think we should unsticky this because of that. It's been a learning tool for a lot of people.

Well, I will sticky this while I get ready what I have commented with a few members of the section...

Just a random question is there any commands for attribute points or a file i can edit because after rebirth i do not not get as much as i supposed to :/ its a new server that needs alot of work and its for a good few friends around 30 people and i need everythink pretty much perfect its a 5165 server with a Destined4Co client. please help.

If you're still taking input John, I'd definitely say ditch any stickies relating to ncos.

There's literally ZERO reason for people to still be using it.

Want raw features? Trinity Knockoffs/Elite CoEmu better choices
Want base/stability? 5017 hybrid, 5165 impulse, new hybrid(s)
Want mix of features and stability? Some Trinity Knockoffs, 2nd hybrid source, Albetros, etc


I just don't see NCOS being a viable option anymore.

That's true. I still like this source though for its bugs. As I said, it's great for learning how to debug (though you can do that with any source really).

:mad: so i downloaded this source coz i need 5165 source

and it's not working for me (just run in my pc) and can't create newacc

plz i need any WORKING 5165 source

I have some questions about this source!
1st On the instability of it, somebody knows about the limitations of connections and on threds and memory?
2nd How does editing and visualization of database information?
3rd How do I can create files in php if I can not see the variables found in the tables and columns?
