3. is the CPU real bottleneck (saying its on ~100% with current setup) for number of VM's / bots i can run, or would setting system on ssd help out to increase the numbers?
4. how do you set your memory options in VMware, mine VM is just using 24gb from 32gb installed saying its reserving rest for main system. Is it too much if i just run VMware on this comp?

1. When you create your master VM (1st vm) you click right click on it manage->clone or you right click on it, snapshot-> take snapshot, then you do the same but click on snapshot manager, select your created snapshot and click clone. You will have options to create linked clones. Yes its possible to make 40+ linked clones but it depend on your system specs if they will be able to run.
2. I dont understand your questions. If you set up your vms, you just open VMware and you ll have them all in there no matter where you installed your main OS. And you dont need to set up system on SSD, you just need to install OS on your first VM ( that will be used to create clones)
3. If vms are installed on SSD it helps alot, cause you need to use less of your hardware for your VM.
4. When you r making new VM you can choose how much cores and ram you will give to VM for use. If you already created your VM and want to change right click on VM -> settings . There you can change all options (for instance how much ram and cores you will use).
I guess you are beginner in this. Be patient, probably nothings gonna work first time. Try following some tutorials or youtube videos on net to help you set up VM. If you r stuck post here, Im sure someone will help you. When I was setting my VM-s first time I spent like 30 hours before finaly setting it up to work as charm :) so it actualy takes a lot of time . GL
