Well you do not say what you did or if you had it before.
Most people have had the addon before. Don’t say they’ve had it.
They only delete the add-on and leave the saved variables.

When if you remove something you move to add-on and save variables, and then install the addon

yo, any idea if rested xp can work for wotlk 3.3.5a?

No.

That addon runs on the classic API and people are trying to use a new addon on a client from like 15 years ago.

The API is different.

Unless someone wants to build one from scratch and then add the guides. But as you know, that is a lot of work and then testing.

Hello. About 7 months ago I downloaded RestedXP from this thread and it seemed to be working right of the bat in the private server I was playing in (1.12 vanilla server but I wasn using a 1.14.2 client). I came back today here and I noticed that quite some things have changed. Now the only RestedXP that seems to be available is the 4.10 version, that doesn't work in the 2.5.4 game version. Is there any way I can get that version and start using RestedXP again?

Well you questioned my answer when I said to add the guides top another file.

haha i didn't question your answer. I just wasn't sure if what i had in mind was what you were mentioning, so there would be no missunderstanding! But yeah elitepvpers was actually the place i got RestedXP previously and it used to work!

It used to work, until you used a newer file that does not match your patch.

Also if it worked, why change it to something that does not work.

does this have the prep guide for retail midnight for rxp? if it does then its probably my error.
