You can write it also that way
15/15 = 14/14
If you want that 3(5/5) = 2(7/7) //yea I'm using / instead of :
basicly if you would take away the ( ) you won't get 15/15 = 14/14, but instead of that you get
15/5 = 14/7
why? beacuse you multiply 3 with the numerator (the upper 5 at the fraction)
so it's basicly 3/1 * 5/5 = 2/1 * 7/7
So yea, the statement is wrong, cause 15:15 != 14:14 != 15:5 != 14:7
