I don't think you understand Decker.. first of all, it's quite annoying to have someone spamming you constantly with useless stuff imo. arco and I both get that treatment from him, and it never stops. Since you favor in giving examples, here's one for you:
(Now as you said, in order to become a moderator, rudeness is not a factor shown in a applicative's attitude, or in other words, you must constantly "be nice" even if they continually do it, fair?)
a young child is doing something repeatedly, that he is told not to (forsay: wiping his finger in his poop and then onto the carpet.)
Mom: "Now hun, we don't do that." //first time
*kid does it again*
Mom: "We don't do that hunny." //second
*kid does it again*
Mom: "Oh, well I'm not going to spank you this time." //3rd
*and so on*
(in the scenario, the kid constantly repeats himself, even upon the mom's disregard; in this case, most likely the child would need a spanking, to furthermore stop the child.)
what you're particularly stating is, that by applying for moderation duties, you mustn't firmly tell another to quit? Upon repetition, one must know that you cannot say the same thing continually after being ignored, it's quite useless. if you knew Decker like Arco and I did, you would understand that a mere "Stop." doesn't work. Arco is not "rude" to Decker, but somewhat "subjecting" at his ignorance.
