With this in mind, I want to say that this does not remove any liability that this entails, however, those who speak in this E-Pvpers thread, only say that we have been using this to steal information such as player credentials, however Whoever downloaded the photos -who surely did- will be able to see that the only information on their desktop is Eastmile and the hack / illegal program they were using, since the system really only took some photos of you and then automatically banned.

Like seeing deskop is not already stealing sensitive data. We don't know what was on deskop in a moment anticheat took a screenshot. Morsisko found it and gained acces to this data, so we can't be sure u are the only who had acces to that. And, which is most funny thing here, main argument was "only 30 accounts was affected and that's propably same one person". Like you try to kill ppl but u hit only one guy and he survived that so it's fine. Potentialy affected would be even 3k players

But no matter how you try to defend it, you only wanted to "protect" the players from the bad hackers, which is bullshit.

Nevertheless, it does not allow you to take a screenshot without the consent of the user (or secretly) and then upload it to a server where everyone can access (because FTP 0 is safe).

But you can keep trying to say that it was only in the good sense and that this type is not "malicious"

Please don't touch that server or with a stick, they have more preferences for family than love in the game itself. They really always deny it, but once you are inside and have been playing for at least 1 month, you realize that it really is true and yet they pretend that nothing is wrong, they are corrugated, that many people of a faction should be sanctioned in a way permanent, but yes, penalties are invented for people who are really good at the game and if they cannot play for months or never in fact. Your host is sad, they donate a lot of money and that is not reflected in anything. They prefer to break something and then fix it. They will tell me that it is not like that or comments to contradict me but those that we have played with a continuous flow in which we know to be true. I have to say in your favor that it serves to waste time while NosWings is operational: D

It's your opinion, not our 2-3k active players opinion, and you didn't even give any proof of anything you are saying, just criticizing without arguments or proofs.

I will repeat again, the problem we had was having an intrusive anti-cheat system which has already been removed, and which luckily didn't affect to leak anyone accounts, but people is trying to make it look like a reaaaally big issue, like we were stealing our user's bank accounts and lot more crap comments like this.

Obviously the fact taking screenshots, even if it was just on the momment of hack using (3-4 screenshots 10 seconds before the ban showing the game + the hacking software), is not a good practice, its not respecting the user privacy even if he is trying to break the game by hacking, but I repeat, really few people were screenshoted and not in any of the screenshots sensitive accounts, bank, or similar data was shown.

I also repeat, Osu! and other games used to do this kind of anti-cheat systems in the past, also had users complains and removed the system (I didn't know this when I implemented the system).

However we already have admitted the error of using that intrusive anti-cheats system, we completly removed it, and we say sorry again,

I have started playing on the server recently, I liked it a lot, especially the animation and music of the launcher, I recommend it!

While it is obvious that Salu's past actions have been pretty questionable to say the least, most of the complains in this post are coming from owners of different private servers trying to abuse this mistake for their own profit.

Why do you talk about ethics when you're ripping thousands and thousands of media content for your game? Even when some of your exploits and bots end up breaking the economy of the official servers and damaging the players experience.

What I mean is that you should just come in more honest ways since your intentions are pretty obvious.

You keep writing sorry, but in the next message you write "but people are trying to make it look like a reaaaally big issue". This says a lot about you :)...and yes it's a big issue because you have no proof that you haven't used something for other purposes.

And I hope someone takes legal action here, because it doesn't really bother you and you need to get a good lesson.

The proofs i didn't use something for other purposes is that NO ONE banned with the anti-cheats system has complained of I did anything with that info. Most of the people criticizing are the less affected ones, just looking for drama and make me and my project look as bad as they can.

The lesson is already learnt, we are humans, we have fails, more when only 1 person is in charge of the development of EVERYTHING on the current biggest running private server, obviously I wont repeat never ever an error like this because who would want to go through this shit situation and this pressure twice? Im fucking tired, honestly, and the last thing I need is more moralist people trying to teach ethical and life lessons when most of them have his own shits, non-ethical practices or behaviors, and are just trying to damage instead of help anyone.

Disabling anticheat doesn't repair damage. Saying sorry (especially after justifing your action as a good thing, blaming other for publish your malware code or even for I don't even know how to name it, for being your rival here?) doesn't repair damage. Start think what you should do know instead of running away from it.

BTW what if I'm affected? Do you really think I would cry here or just go to the police or something?

If some was affected the first thing he would do when all this began is to show his case, giving even more importance to this situation and making me look what all that people is trying to make me look like. This is not the case because I HAVE NEVER and WOULD NEVER use any kind of my users data for malicious porpuses, between other reasons because it's insta jail and I have no any fucking need to do that kind of things for anything.
