I researched a lot on the internet about how to run NFS World offline. Currently I believe that the most updated version of "Soapbox Race Offline Server" is 1.9.3. Any version of Soapbox Offline is difficult to find to download as the links to the official page on a forum are broken. I think the creators are no longer updating it to encourage players to just play the online version. I managed to download versions 1.93 and 1.92 and tested both using NFSW downloaded through SBRW Launcher 2.2.2 (for online mode supported by the community, "nightriderz" is another launcher to play online). In my case the game opens, I can create a profile but when I enter the map to start driving my game closes. Then I realized that the versions of Soapbox that I downloaded did not have the "Server Editor", perhaps it was no longer necessary in these versions but I'm not sure about this.
The only NFSW that I managed to make work offline was a 2017 repack that I found on torrents, search for the name of the game and download the version "build-1613 offline-1.9.0" it is a 2.6GB .exe file. It will install the game and create two shortcuts, one for the Server Editor and the other for Soapbox Offline Server 1.9.0. With this version I can play offline. *Make sure you have the Java component and Node JS installed on your system.
EDITING: I found a new way to play NFSW offline using the SBRW Launcher (for those who couldn't download the game from another location). Use "Lawin0129 NFS-World-Offline" available at
[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]. Follow the instructions on how to download the game via SBRW Launcher then follow the instructions on "Lawin0129 offline launcher" on github, it works perfectly.
Tip: Keep the offline server open before running SBRW Launcher. After adding the offline server address in SBRW Launcher, close it and open it again so the new server appears in the list. You will not need to register an account with SBRW, just click on Login and then on Play Now. If you are disconnected from the internet, SBRW will open but when you click on Play Now a message will be displayed asking if you want to use the old data found in the folder, say yes and the game will start without a connection.
Differences between the three offline NFSW versions. Choose Yours:
Torrent Repack: You can customize some of your player's characteristics such as level, amount of money, time of day... You can also use power ups during races such as nitro, damage shield... Many icons for events are visible on the map. You will continue to earn money, level up and unlock things with each race you win.
Lawin0129 offline server with SBRW Launcher: You will start with millions in credits that will not decrease, all cars and tuning accessories are open for purchase, all achievements completed. You will not be able to use any power up during races (ai-controlled opponents do). On the map more icons for events are visible. You won't gain anything by winning races because everything in the game will be unlocked.
SBRW Launcher online mode: Hard economy, level zero. You'll start with less money, buy your first car and win races to level up and unlock more stuff. You can use power ups during races. On the map racing icons are available but in different locations as there are special events created by the community. New cars and music from other NFS games are added.
