Ran CE with glyph edited, still online.

I think more the system in place detects certain things outright and bans were-as others it delays for human interaction to look at to determine if they should or shouldn't ( like the edits for fov an such ).

I also cannot guarantee that fly/speeding around won't be caught by some sort of server sided script system.
Same I just check with the throw away account and it's still good a couple hours later. So the edit seemingly works.

I'm going to quote and respond to something that was posted on the AA forum's by a user here..

seeing as plox already told you how to track it since you guys pushed it a bit too far with him
The only thing I ever gave trion was how to fix they're shader crashing issues & things in relation to DX11. I never ever have given trion jack all shit in relation to the mod or how to track it or anything to do with derp or the source, period.

If you want absolute truth, they're "development" team wants absolutely nothing to do with me because of who I'am and what I've done and refuses to speak with me as does anyone of production or community relations. Which is why I had to sit with they're legal department and correct every single miscommunication in relation to my website that was put out cause they had zero understanding of what did what on it and that things on my website had nothing the hell to do with archeage other then the Mod & Derp.

The only thing I did in relation to trion was take the mod down in agreement/discussion with the legal department and they would remove the legal charges against me for copyright which began to fall into federal and the reason I was pressured to do so.

lol plox, i think anyone on here wouldn't even begin to think of you as someone who would help Trion.. unless it's to make the game work properly. Trion has proven themselves time and time again that they don't know how to properly run this game. It's sad... the concept is amazing and the game is great and I like to think of what would happen if a company like blizzard came out with this type of game.. how popular it would be.

Anyone on here who doesn't agree with what your doing will get flammed off the site by your supporters. You know how many supporters you have and you know we will stand by you if needed. As you said before.. People don't know what they're talken about and as far as I'm concerned they don't need to know. They're just trying to get their epeen hard.

I understand Trion fighting you.. I think any gaming company would fight the guys who do what you do. I do think Trion has taken it a step far with computer scanning with glyph tho. Back in early 2009 it looks like, Blizzard got hit with a shit storm of hate with people saying Warden scanned their PC's and saw private stuff... in turn, violating the user's privacy. Blizzard had to come public with warden explaining what it does and I feel Trion has to do the same.

You guys talking about changing the name of derp so that if they scan your processes they wont see derp but something else.
Thing is, even if i change the exe name, in the processes it still appears as derp, so what am i missing?

Renaming the executable changes how it would display in the process list to say for example, abc.exe .

I'll be removing the property values off it aswell which also contains my name and derp inside of it, incase - in an update this weekend & I'll also add something that closes glyph when archeage.exe is launched.

I've shown in a previous post a page or so ago how to just simply zero byte the glyph client, which so far seems to keep the client I've been running with olly/ce/derp loaded the past few days still online in vmware.

Curious, the speed hack doesn't work for farm carts (2-pack)

Only works for haulers, was only designed for haulers.

I wonder if the hex edit would prevent mod detection as well. Have you tested it out? If not I can try it later.

It was within those lines, I believe. I've reversed all of glyph to almost entire source but I obviously cannot post it for obvious reasons..

I can though, upload an older version of glyph from the 3 months ago to show you the difference between and what makes it obvious that it is glyph since I've been hoarding some files for 'just in case' things like this, if you'd like. It was just a mistake on my part for not noticing it and seeing the glyph client jump from 4.6mb to 12.8 so suddenly. I've checked a versions back, aswell, and about the same time Celestrata asked all of those people for those logs is around the same time that it was done. So alot of those emails people are getting are all back-logs from reports and they are actually cleaning out all of the abuse@trion mails ( which is why some legit players are getting them ontop of the hackers ).

I guess trion is sitting back thinking they've a leg up, pff, they just were sneaky an decided to go a malware route which is in the end going to cost them users since they are lying about what exactly it sniffs for on your computer.. It's actually much more intrusive then they are leading people to believe

Oh and P.S.: I can actually edit the old launcher to be the same revision as the current one and run fine since the handling of launching archeage never changed at all between them - is the reason I'm also asking if anybody would want it and to do it themselves :)

Which you can just redo the change manually again or take the older glyph client and put in the new version number that is matching to the current one.

I've responded to your PM here, please check it.

On a later note, finishing up some good updates on derp for sometime tomorrow to upload :D

Some things to note, aswell, if anyone uses Visual Studio ( which I use visual studio 2012 ), since it has a debugger, be aware that Glyph will flag you because of it.

I noticed a user on the forums had posted something about it and I actually wanted to test it myself and can for sure say that if you use any type of tool that has a debugger ( such as visual studio does ) that it will actually flag you through the system... Really fucking bad coding on that part and kind of retarded if you ask me to of done something like that.. This also goes into the point of it detecting other types of compilers aswell that have any type of debug aspect contained within them..

Seems like alot of people are going to get false bans out of this, good job to trion for killing the game even more..

Do the derp updates include extra security measure? Either way looking forward to the update.

Side note to everyone who is skeptical about derp getting caught. My throwaway account that I used to hack with (after I edited the glyph client) is still not banned. So ya if guys want to protect yourself so far it seems to be working pretty good.

Can someone link the post on how to edit the glyph.
