You are correct, it is not the old school you might expect. I would say it's just different, has it's own tweaks and game mechanics.

We will be closing the public entry for testers tomorrow.
Next time you will be able to play Lost Galaxy only by invitation. Testers already registered will be automatically allowed to continue to play and will be invited to test out the latest version when we launch it.
