60 cap server

If you want to add game content by introducing CTF, it's fine for me. If it works, it's also a nice add-on.

What you really need in order to have a succesfull 60/70 cap server is to have the OLDEST job system. Without it, your server is doomed.
Also, make it a x1 exp isro rate server, with 1x gold drop, 1x item drop etc. Getting lvl 60 with x1 rates will be a bit harder, so that getting a higher level will be more difficult (in those days it didn't matter that much if you were lvl 40 or 60, you could still job how much you wanted.
So make it x1 rate, and make botting NOT allowed! In this way it would be the best server out there!

A few sidenotes; make sure there aren't any GM's ingame, or characters that have armor/weapons that make them stronger than any other character.
Do you even know how many people will quit after attacking the first monster?They gain 23% and will leave.
In this way less people>people that like the server will leave because there are only 10 player online

Find the real cruel way that Sro begun.Being the best on that kind of server with that conditions,with no help from bots,not easy suns,not easy unbalanced alchemy, you got to be near of your guild,stick together to lvl faster and gain the real Silkroad respect.

As i said many times,that was the real purpose of all item creation from lvl 1 to lvl X,the reason a item drop was important,to admire all beauty from all china recreation aspects and enviroment.

Simply beautifull.

Give something diferent to people, a hard way to reach lvl 60 and they will enjoy all the way

Agree with like 99% with u!
Old job system Can't be add to the vsro files (many tried it but not possible)
Another idea how to fix it, do random places with save zones and teleport point so we can change our jobs there (without job penalty ofc)

X1 rates ye would be nice but as already someone said we would lose to many players
Bot have to be allowed with x2 rates ( thinking zWer gonna do x2 )

But the rest i'm standing 100% behind u!

Its impossible to make cap 60 like it was on isro
cuz thoes r diff files and good old time ahah xD
we r trying to make cap 60 server but things like blues will stay ing will be bit hard
bot is illegal

In my eyes , sro is 80% based on grinding , no matter what rates are , people finds out to grind faster these days , which totally killed the game itself ( Not to mention servers with high rates , lmao. )
I remmemb the days when competition in servers used to be awesome , every one tried to become higher and higher level , just to be top1 , and fw's , oh god they were more than awesome , being capped level you could rip off like 20 guys in couple of hits , these times are never coming back , because its just impossible , we explored the game way too much , anyways , 1x rates would be something unique in my eyes , the real 1x i mean , so it would take 2-3weeks to reach 60.

Guys, guys, guys, guys! No matter what we do, it will NEVER be like in 2003. Never!

But we can, and we will do our best (I hope), to make a good, balanced 60 capped server.

- I personally agree with the 300 masteries.
- Let it be 2-3x, not too high, to let ppl job on lower levels too.
- Drop and gold can be 2-3x too (maximum).
- Job system? Just remove the 7 day delay, and we are OK.
- Disable alchemy, and server will be completely deserted. You can even raise the rates! Just don't let elixirs drop from any casual monster. I could be CTF, unique reward, or if you can manage, jobbing reward (that would make ppl job hell a lot).
- Add jewel box event!!!! I simply loved the thing, grinding for GDFs, or a silk pet, it's just simply awesome. :) Even there would be use of those 500 hp-mp scrolls. ;)
- Legalize botting. I'm sorry to say it, since I'm in this group too: people won't join, or will bot illegally. There are these two ways, no others.

You may find of course a handful of legit players, but that might be all. Make sure there is no point of botting except the leveling, and make sure that there are hell a lot more fun in playing the game, like jobbing and stuff. Then it will be balanced.

We made 220 mastery's
Rates will be like that (maybe x5 cuz on x5 rate you get like lv 2)
Wep elixirs r droped by uniqes,and in ctf by killing ppl
GDF and such things r droped by uniqes
About penalty we didnt do anything yet.
Bot - will see about that (truly i liked the thrill of illegal botting haha xD)
