[Bot] SXLBOT

Hey srk, bug report for the experimental BT.

If it helps:

Failure during Run

File: BT.exe
Step: 418
Action: Click on Image

Otherwise, the main bot itself is working great, even though it opens the tribunal page a lot of times, at least it closes it after.

I'll fix it in next update.

It looks like the problem isn't with the bot at all. You shouldn't see that ULB page when using SXLBOT. Seeing that page is certainly not the cause of the problem, but that does indicate a problem. Seeing how the bug is too rare, I'd say it is caused by a polluted OS installation. Try using a fresh installation of XP with all the necessary runtimes- .NET, Visual C++, directX, etc.

Any info you can give me will help. The more the better. For screenshot please give me the link to it like alysa did above. Because images tags take too much space.

Thanks frogstar. Let me know if you face any problem.

On an unrelated note: I messed up the exp boost buying sequence. Will fix it in next update, most probably over the weekend. In the mean time I recommend you use the 3day exp boost option. Set hyperExp=NO in config.ini.

Glad you could make it work :)

I posted an update with 1 minor and 1 major fix:
Quote:
Changelog v2.14 to v2.16:
- fixed some minor bugs in BT.exe
- fixed buying sequence for the 1day + 4win combo; buys 1day at lvl3 and 4win at lvl5.
Before it bought 4win at lvl 3 and 1day at lvl5 which was a terrible combo, now the order is reversed to make it faster.

A few more bugs (on 2.16):

Failure During Run

File: SXLBOT2.EXE
Step: 299
Action: "Click on Image"

(This stopped in the middle of adding bots on to both teams)

Also, it seems that the bot currently just skips BT, even with the config files saying BT=yes. It starts right into doing dominion customs. I realize it's experimental, just letting you know that it doesn't quite work yet, at least not for me.

Would it be possible to allow an option to have errors not stop the program from running and cause it just to restart? Or would this result in everyone not submitting bug reports? Would it be possible to have the error messages logged into a file instead of a popup that stops the script?

Another report here. I'd give a screenshot but the thing closed itself so I'll describe it.

Failure During Run
File: SXLBOT2.EXE
Step: 429
Action: "Click on Image"

The strange thing about this one is that it said sxlbot2 was the problem, yet I saw the screen saying something to the effect of:

You have 60seconds to choose in champion selection for the battle training. If you do not choose, you will be disconnected.

So it seems this error occurred as part of battle training, as the account is still at 0xp total.

Thank you, it was pretty inconspicuous if you ask me.

So I put the path in, choose my settings, I run 'SxlBot2 Run' and I just get the little window that says 'Sorry to see you go .....'

Edit: So it works on my main comp but on my vm when I click run it just gives me the exit message as if I was pressing task kill.
