[HowTo]Setup Dragonica Server v 0.13.12 with photos

I follow all the step as written inside the guide posted by naty48
the only step i don't know how to edit is STEP 7.

1. edit SMC.bat file in : "99uc-20101116-03\smc\SMC\SMC.bat". [Question : how do I edit .bat file?]
You will see inside this :
-------------------------
cd .\SMC
SMC_Release.exe /SERVER_NO=9001 /MMC_ADDR=127.0.0.1:1801
pause [Question : how do I pause when bat is running?]
-------------------------
Edit 127.0.0.1 to your ip or stay with 127.0.0.1 to play in local

When i open the SMC.bat, it start running, i can't even edit it.
Can someone help me when this?

WTF :confused: Hummm...try, copy the original and try to change it, then if it change nothing reput the last one ;) And change the client will not works anymore :D And be happy ! My pc (i think its a problem with it) I can't create a character in game, I tryed via the db but doesnt works anymore...
And you're not the only one to have this problem, someone on ******** have the same of you (and an other people, the same of me)

You can create yours. Look at the first page, you'll see something make INB, download it and make yours but you with a .bat you don't need the config.inb.

Hummm...

Click R on the .bat and open with note pad or note pad ++ (you should download the note pad ++)
And don't think, don't change the pause or anythings. You can't pause when the server is running.
I you want a local play, put 127.0.0.1 anywhere you see an IP. (Database & server)

The bat file (for the game) is :

start .\release\DRAGONICA.EXE /NoGsm /LaunchByLauncher /ServerAddr:""127.0.0.1""/ServerPort:""11002"" /SiteName:""""
exit

For SMC, you need to launch MMC first, follow the guide and it should launch correct...

I call back (remind) you need to patch the game in english to play.

thanks. I did edit the SMC.bat

but when i run smc.bat, it said "fail to connect to MMC"
and then i run the MMC.bat, it said "MMC.ini doesn't exist"

guide me please.

Lastly, let said after i run mmc.bat and smc.bat, how to i open the game to play?

Try to copy the .ini or .bat, (to save it as well) make your change as you want and look if it works or not.

How much ram needed to run your own server. I got 4gig ram atm.

Sunflowerboy could you upload me your .bak files please? And your server files if its possible? ( I will change them to my data, IP and so on). Want to try if it works.

I think my database is broken did your invetory resets after relog?

What Client did you use?

EDIT: My OS is Win 7 64 bit 8 gb ram i7 920 Alienware from Dell. But I still dont believe that the OS makes the individual problems.
