nooo its not patched but the game patches combining data with data.bak so the offsets maybe changed. use winhex and it will work ^^

care to explain how it works with winhex then? Want to change the behaviour of the crespo dungeon mobs but with this editor they just disappear. Would really appreciate it if anyone could give more details to how the hexeditor works.

K, everything is fine.. but..
If we set AI to 23, mobs would FOLLOW us only without agro limits, but i cant set agro more than 9 at this prog, i gotta use winhex.
Would be fine if someone updates this prog to do it

This thread doesnt help the slightest, I already read it. What I need is a tutorial...all I want to do is to change the crespo Ai but with just whats in that thread one cant do anything. You got a hexeditor and get to know which file to open...whats next? It says 200kb at max...plus i cant find any monster names in the editor anyway. Help plz...a short step to step introduction would be really appreciated.

you need to buy it or use a serial nr from the web to defeat the 200kb problem.

1) Got the file open
2) Press STRG+F (for search)
3) Enter name of the monster like "Captain Rock Pressure"
4) If you found the right place there comes the right name and after that there comes a description with like china symbols :D after that the ai is the 5th entry. should look like that "...1000-1000,0 , 0, 0, 1, 1..." <<< its the red one
5) change and save

yezo, would it be possible to make a function that actually resets all data thats been changed? Using Reset all or Reset current doesnt seem to work if uve saved once. :(
