You mean you click Start NFS World the game comes up and then freezes on the loading screen? And what do you mean by freezing? Games crashes or the whole PC freezes? Make sure you updated your drivers for your graphics card. Windows 10 did a pretty good work messing the whole drivers system pretty good since the drivers that come with Windows 10 are the WORST drivers you could ever have. If you are using an Nvidia card the most stable drivers (at least for me) are 362.00. You should also reinstall the game files, you never know, something may got corrupted.Quote:
Good news! (Not really)
So I upgraded to Windows 10 because I knew I'd have to eventually but now when I start the offline server the game loads for about 2 seconds and then freezes up completely. I've tried reinstalling Python and Java. I also tried deleting settings.ini but these didn't seem to do anything.
Really need some help here please!
It's really buggy as is now at least for multiplayer. Nobody talked what features it had apart from a couple multiplayer tests. And from what I saw/heard it doesn't have the modding possibilties 1.8.3 has.Quote:
@Benno4: We have the new version now. Don't need the offline server anymore - I guess. You know, how it works to install the server from Nilzao?
The offline server is important to me. I'm one of the very very few people who still grind the game for fun. Plus I can't do things like work on the Community Mod or my Price Pack when I use the soapbox server.Quote:

Only the game freezes, I'm updating my drivers now. I'll edit this post when I see what happens.Quote:

For the privacy issues there are a couple good and safe programs to use that block a bunch of stuff. Seach it up and find what suits you the best.

I have no idea mate. I guess you already tried a fresh offline server copy.Quote:
EDIT: Updating my graphics drivers didn't work. I have the offline server on my Windows 10 laptop too and it runs fine on there. Really need it to be up and running on my desktop too. I'll try unpacking a fresh game file now and see if that helps.
EDIT:: Didn't work. My whole PC seems to run worse now.
I don't have any clue either. Of course I get some BS problem that I haven't seen anyone else on here post about. So fed up with PC's, I had a feeling I'd have a problem with the offline server when I upgraded.Quote:

I have Win10 myself, never faced a problem with NFSW Offline it self.
I really don't know. If you can't fix it in any way, you could try a clean install of your OS.
Some really nice cars you have there. I would love to feature your Grand Cherokee in the Community Mod!Quote:
I made some cars; if anyone is interested in adding them to the catalog, PM me.

Alright, I'll upload the carslot file, and you can add whatever you want. All I want is proper credit for making the cars.Quote:

I got NFSW working on my PC. I disabled Calender in my privacy settings and I guess that messed the server up because I had Auto Time enabled.
You reinstalled the game?Quote:

EDIT: I've heard that Windows 10 is notorious for compromising privacy, so I've taken steps to stop particular programs from sending information to Microsoft. I doubt that will mean anything when it comes to this problem but I thought I'd mention it just incase.
