any1 long enough in this community should know by now that the counter never represents the real number of players, i know for a fact that there are people around with proxy partys like always, pls dont act like thats a new fact lol.
if there are just 500 ppl in beta and 2k (even if multis) at the grand opening then thats the situation they couldnt simulate, how could they.

A proxy changes your IP to a different one, PC(HWID) Limit is based on your hardware's unique identifiers which is unchangeable by any means. It can be bypassed if virtual machine is used (probably) and most of the dlls has vm detection feature.

So its basically impossible unless you bypass the dll itself or the way it verifies the packet.

Usually people are more active in Grand Opening (the urge to be the top) unlike beta which is most likely all about pvp and testing builds.
