For some chaos season is boring but for others like me its quite good cause you don't need to kill your time farming quest in pvp like medals.
And no need for addict mode anymore to have a high level characters back when the previous season its very tiring to do a job change quest like 2nd job quest cause you need to farm frag and that's pretty boring going on dungeon over and over.
but now its very easy and that's a good thing hehe..

Anyway that's only my personal opinion regarding chaos season.

its because you can get it by CHANCE... since you have a 1 hit KO it should be a walk in a park in your case, but try hunting a thanny book without hacks.... just be patient dude
