I have an issue... i have just downloaded the new client... and i have windows 7.. i can launch the client but it just doesnt even start updating... The process in the task manager just gets stuck at 8.5k.. and nothing happens.. can some one tell me what to do..

make sure to open silkroad.exe not sro_client see if that helps

It doesnt start updating as it should... As windows 7 has a troubleshooting option which i tried it says not compatible... my friends use it and they didnt get that issue...

hmm try and go into properties and go to compatibility and change compatibility mode to run in windows xp server pack 2 maybe
