New version for the Zygor Updater!

Changes (v2.1.1):

• Changed update check to be directly from the Zygor Guides changelog archive. This will mean that the updater will say there's an update available if there's a new version on the Zygor Guides site, even if 911sky hasn't shared it yet. So if you still get a new version alert in the updater after updating, then it means 911sky hasn't published it yet. If that happens then you can just try again later, or the next day until it doesn't say there's a new update available :-) Had to change it because Elitepvpers does captcha checks some times, so I can't check the latest version published by 911sky directly from Elitepvpers.

IMPORTANT:
I suggest doing a completely clean install of the updater. (Delete the old version, and extract the new version after).

Love the updaters, but is there maybe a way to read the file name from the download section, that way you can bypass the elitepvpers captcha?
maybe have a log file as to the last file that was downloaded, what the latest version is from Zygor change log site and cross ref all that with the file we are downloading

EG, i am on 8.0.25200 -> 8.0.25240 according to the updater,
would it be better to say
8.0.25420 is available
Update Zygor Guides Shadowlands v8.0.25200 -> v8.0.25236 Please be patient until 8.0.25420 is available from 911sky

or something along those lines, that way the updater will tell what version we have, what version 911sky has, and what version Zygor is up to, then people will now it is all still working and that they have the latest version that is downloadable.

Can't do that. When I first changed the updater after the links got changed to mediafire, I wanted to use those Mediafire links that have the version in the file name. The reason I can't is that whenever 911sky uploads a new version with a different name the link gets changed.

So 911sky made a new Mediafire folder just for the Zygor Updater, it has the same zygor addon files like on the main post, but the one used for the Zygor Updater always has the same name so the links don't change when he uploads new versions.
Since they don't have the version in the file name, I can't read the version that's currently published.

I also tried to see if I can scrape the Mediafire folders because then I could've fetched the new download links without a problem, but the Mediafire folder page source doesn't show the files in the folder because they're loaded after. But I will always try to find different ways to figure out a way to fetch it somewhere with the least amount of manual work. And currently, that way is getting it directly from Zygor Guides changelog, at least until I find a better way where I can get the latest version 911sky has published :-)

I am in the process of testing another way to scrape the Mediafire folders that might work though.

What do you mean?

giving you heads up and incase if anyone else have any issues... when i went to download from Mediafire, my bitdefender went haywire with the rar file for some odd reason....

tried several times and it kept deleteing the RAR file... so i clicked on repair your download file link in mediafire and it resolved the issue. The fresh download didnt make my bitdefender go haywire.

Same old story.

Windows defender does not like rar files. It cannot scan them correctly after all these years. So it says it a virus when it is not. Seems people do not have this issue when windows defender is up to date. Personally I do not use it. I use something more secure.

Feel free go go to Virustotal and can any file I post.

Ah, that's because in BilisOnyxia version v1.5.3 he made more changes to the custom sources, renamed a few things, so the custom sources needed to be updated. The import string doesn't import the custom sources.

It was just today that this threw a fit. had this for like 4 months give or take and it chose today to throw a fit. I knew it wasnt a virus so i solved it myself and explained what I did heh. Hoping what I did helps others out there. :D Been around since 2008 so yeah :)

Yea if it was a zip file, would be no issue. But there is a reason why I never use zip.

I don't see the latest BCC Zygor link. It's still showing the last version when I try to download.
