sry i have a littel question so i have installet the server and i can loggin me with the adminn acc but how can i create a new acc? and then how can i made him to a admin too?

The included html document in the files gives a link to a registration script found on here @ Elitepvpers after registering the new account go into database and set all the settings in there to the same as the original account.

Update Added Windows 7 and Vista Video's to show people how to Disable UAC and Install the Server.

Yes Tutorial 1 and 2 are for XP tutorial 3 is to configure the client. so it is not windows Specific

did you install as administrator?

yes i did instal as admin but dont know what is wrong :(

hmm this looks like you don't have admin acces. when you installed the installserver.bat did you rightclick and open as admin?

or do you have UAC off? and your in a admin account?

this has to do with admin in any way.

I am breaking down to ask for some help on this.

I have had this up and running for several months now. Great tutorial and videos. I am running on Vista, and I used the MSQL 2008 R2 instead of MSQL 2005. Two weeks ago, I tried to change the database to EP5 and then nothing worked anymore. So I decided to go back the the original install. Now I can't get it to run at all.

I get the classic Red X in the PSMServer_Mgr.exe

I am running with UAC off (I didn't need to do that in the original install) and I tried even to do Run as Administrator with UAC off. I have even gone to the point of uninstalling the entire MSQL 2008 database program and reinstalling the entire system.

I have run the shaiya_scv_delete.bat, shaiya_svc_remove_all.bat, and the shaiya_svc_stop.bat programs to remove any instance of the shaiya_server and shiya_serverf from the systems services.

Reinstalling after this goes just fine. Setting up the database goes just fine. Resetting the database works just fine.

About the only thing odd that comes us in the install is during the Restore Database
Start MSTDC and ser to auto
[SC] ChangeServiceConfig SUCCESS
[SC] StartService FAILED 1056:
An instance of the service is already running.

The above error message exists in the video tutorial.

I have successfully loaded this on two other people's computer without any problem.

About the only thing different now is that I have Himachi on my computer. Someone said that there are issues with Himachi. I have disabled it, but that doesn't seem to change anything.

Any suggestions that I need to look into

you have Ps_game.exe for ep5? i hade problems before i changed to a working ps-game.exe for ep5.

i need to (alot) when running ep5 go in the client folder and activate servers with PSM_AgentInstall and PSM_ServiceMgr under client folder of the server.

i don't know why realy, but i need to do this alot when i try ep5.

rember to do the SQL New Installation the right way:-) db username and passord need to match with the PSMServer_Mgr (ini files)

i have never hade a problem with hamachi. but you need to have that installed before sql or it 's ip will not be able to activate (i think)

using 2008r2 my self (express) works like a charm:-)

could you help me to fix it

i got all the steps done from the tut and the server opens and i can go to log in screen and log into the the place with u pick a game sever well this in only one server to pick and i click tht one and it says Failed to connect to server... did i do something wrong or is there a easy fix for this ?please help send me pm or rply on here
