Someone is offering this bot on ebay but that's not me.

V1.6.8 is working fine for me guys.
I have one question for the admin.
In case of farming, soldiers always attack the farthest farming village first rather than the nearest one. Is there a switch or can i change some setting to modify this.
Thanks

@Utharnl

Hey,
Is there a way to make a drop down box in the settings to select whether we farm for resources or farm for troops? Of course, we would have to have researched it in academy.

Each farmer has an ID so the server knows which one you want to attack. When I scan for the available farmers I save the ID's from low to high (ID's are number based).
When attacking I start with the lowest ID. There's no simple way to know if that one is near you or not. It's different for everyone.

For example: if you always start attacking the one farthest away, the player on the other side of the island will always attack the nearest one first. You have just a bad place on the island :)

But after using the bot for some time it doesn't really matter. Your attacks are each time closer to your town while others have to attack farther away. At the end everyone has spend (almost) the same amount of time.

Could you give some more info?
Have you updated the server information in settings.txt?
Login information correct?
Any errors you got in debug.txt?

Added new version:
Version: 1.7.0 Date: 20-03-2010
-Added support for multiple towns
-Added about window

Tested both attack and build functions, and everything seems to work.
It's a big update this time, so could have missed some things. If you find a bug you can report it here.

//edit
Added version 1.7.1
-Fixed load queue button
-Fixed crash with about window

Thanks for the response. I will start looking at the code and may be i will try to save the list of the farming villages into a file and then assign a priority to the villages to farm. Let me know which file should i start looking.

thanks again.
