No I am and was not interested in sensitive player information.

Can you proof that you didn't delete the ones with the bank accounts?

What i am trying to show you, you can't excuse anymore.

Can you proof Google isn't using his users 24h recording voice for malicious proposes like selling information to governments or other companies? Yeah, we can follow this thread but we will get nowhere.

If I would have and used any information maliciously, the affected person could pretty easily expose me now. Nobody will because i did nothing.

You are comparing yourself with google?

Do you have something calles ToS/ToC? Privacy Policy? I can't find it on your website. I also can't find any agreement during the registration progress to accept such.

By creating a google account, installing the browser w/e you are agreeing that personal data is used to improve their services and technologies. I also accepted those and I have no problem with that. I would have a problem if they did without my agreement.

Stop comparing your amateur server with google. Damn.

Was just an example to show how senseless was trying to find a "proof of you don't steal bank accounts" xD.

Oh no, oh no, oh no no no no no :kappa:

Should be clear that the server should be deleted from the forum + ban.
It is simply malware nothing else, you can also no longer sugarcoat it.

Let the forum admins/mods decide if it was or wasn't against the rules. And once again, read the definition of malware, try to understand what it is, and maybe then you will understand why what our anti-cheats did isn't malware.

But to be clear, in definition of malware you use your anticheat still gains unauthorized access to a computer system. Correct me if I'm wrong but how can anyone be sure what data you collected, what you did with these screenshots and what you will do in a future.

Even if on these screenshot there wasn't any sensitive information like u define this you already used Google as an example of company collecting our personal data as a normal thing. They say what they store, why they store it and what they do with it. You stored potentialy ~30 ppl data without they agreement (and the number is only your word, 0 proofs and you even can't proof that you didn't edited any logs). And potentialy you could do this to about 3k players, lol

Now that I explained everything and disabled the screenshots system, is up to you to trust or don't trust. In case anything I said is fake, there are lot of people with intention to hurt me who can show proofs if I would really be lying.

Also, I offered to this forum admins to check my source codes to ensure I'm not collecting any kind of sensitive information now.

It was ok to store data of cheaters for some reason and you noticed that is big ethical problem (or still didn't notice) after you blamed Blowa for being the bad guy.

Biggest problem here is, you know (or you should know) that stuff should not never been implemented to your anticheat. And from what I noticed after reading that shit, u should have known what you do after Osu! drama.

Tell your players what you did and ask them will they trust you or not
03/25/2021 21:38 Omeganeet#175
bruh, you could show it to them and enable it again.
No trust in you, okay?

I already told to my players, now they have the choice to trust or not as I said to you before.

Why is no one taking legal action here? Logging users' private data - especially without their knowledge - is highly illegal. To present something like this as an "anti-cheat" tool is more than questionable. No matter what it was intended for, the result remains the same. Private data was leaked and you should actually be sued for that.

if u told them things from first post ( [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] ) then you even didn't say sorry for that... It's not even manipulation, it is literally a lie.

After many posts u start to talk what ppl want, just to end this shitstorm like you even don't care about what you did

Though I'm as dissapointed as you with this situation the punishment you're asking for may be too rough. This server has been bringing joy to the community for a long time, even if this mistake exposed some users privacity.

Few servers can compete with Eastmile in terms of communication with their community. They've balanced and modified the game based on their opinions. Just because of this I am willing to accept their apology.

Even if this has made me more cautious, I think we should all give Eastmile a second chance and believe they won't mess again with our privacy.
