I like it how a player whom doens't know 60 cap, makes a 60 cap server (no offence though, you just make a wannabe 60 cap server).
If you want to add game content by introducing CTF, it's fine for me. If it works, it's also a nice add-on.
In those days, we didn't have any sox, so if you want to make a real 60 cap server, make sure you have the following things in there:
- 300 masteries (yes we had that back then, cause we didn't know what to do with skills)
- remove alchemy (if you do want to introduce it, make it x0.5 normal isro rates, so that having a +3 weapon is extremely rare). Also remove blue's! No discussion whatsoever.
- Introduce the real old job system. Where you could change jobs anywhere on the map. Where there were only npc thieves who attacked both traders/hunters/thieves. In those days everyone were trading, and if you weren't trading, and saw someone doing a 2+star trade, you simply became a thief and hijacked him. Those were the days!
- remove all the 'new' skills (introduced at 80 cap, things like snow shield or debuffs (force tree), and introduce the old skills again (with the delay after ghost spear).
- 7dg items only from mobs, as back in those days, we weren't able to buy them in the shops.
What you really need in order to have a succesfull 60/70 cap server is to have the OLDEST job system. Without it, your server is doomed.
Also, make it a x1 exp isro rate server, with 1x gold drop, 1x item drop etc. Getting lvl 60 with x1 rates will be a bit harder, so that getting a higher level will be more difficult (in those days it didn't matter that much if you were lvl 40 or 60, you could still job how much you wanted.
So make it x1 rate, and make botting NOT allowed! In this way it would be the best server out there!
A few sidenotes; make sure there aren't any GM's ingame, or characters that have armor/weapons that make them stronger than any other character.
