In the first video u enable FTP server, but It's not in my list. Is it really necessary to have it or can I just skip that step?

Okay i read this entire post and everyone's comment. And no one has yet to answer the smc problem.

I am win 7 64bit i run normally it doesnt work so i run admin and i type in id pw and press ok and it closes with the error problem like everyone else is having.
