What other information would you want?

It clearly says what addon it is.
But then again, people take, never read and now want more information on what they already know what it is?

Had I already known, I wouldn't have asked. When you click the link, it doesn't clearly state like in your screenshot. Vanilla-HC-Anniversary.rar

All it says is 34172, then you extract that and it says Zygor Guides Classic Viewer TBC. So I asked for the link for the 20th anniversary addition. As I said, i didn't realise that it it would be under the Era link.

Please don’t assume bad intentions—I genuinely didn’t know and just wanted to find the correct link

Usually, a question ends with a question mark (?). Nothing you said reads like a question—so how is it that you're “asking” anything?

Oh, I get it—you want it to spell out exactly what the game is? But people already know what they’re playing. They know what they installed. They manually chose to install it.

Then, for some reason, they intentionally choose the wrong addon. That’s like installing Windows, then downloading Firefox thinking it’s Chrome—and then being surprised when it doesn’t work.

You say it’s labeled Zygor Guides Classic Viewer TBC—and ask why? Because Classic, Wrath, Cata, and MoP all run on the TBC client. Am I seriously expected to explain that every time? People are quick to grab the file but say nothing afterward.

I had no reason to assume anything.

So please, don’t accuse me of “assuming” something I had no reason to assume.

You said: “No other information is given.”
So are people like you just going to say things and expect me to guess? Is that the standard?
There’s a problem—are you going to tell me what it is?

Then you say I did something I didn’t—and call that being “genuine”?

Now as for the correct link:

If you’re playing the Era client, you download the Era version.

If you’re on the Classic client, you take the Classic version.

If you’re on Retail, you take the Retail version.

That seems pretty obvious.

And let’s be clear—every other addon you have (outside of this thread) is labeled Era because you’re playing on Era. Your WoW folder is Era. Your updater downloads Era. Yet when you come here and see something marked Era, you grab Classic?

How does that make any sense?

This is exactly why I have a hard time taking people seriously when they pull this kind of stuff.

Here are some issue, that I have.

The fojji mist Raid Assignments WAs
- Raid Assignments User v13.0.3
- Raid Assignments MSV Raid Leader v1.0.4
- Raid Assignments HoF Raid Leader v1.0.3
- Raid Assignments ToES Raid Leader v1.0.1
I unable to import, the wa says decode error.

The last few people that said that did not even copy the full import string.
Then wondered why it did not decode.

Asking if there’s a 20th Anniversary link is… well, a question.

When I downloaded WoW, it was specifically the WoW Classic 20th Anniversary Edition. At no point did it mention "Era," so from my perspective, this is Classic—just the anniversary version. I don’t play retail or have any of the other versions installed.

I’m not expecting anyone to explain why it’s labeled a certain way, but if someone asks for a specific link, the easiest solution is to just provide the correct link or clearly state that the Anniversary Edition is found under a certain label (and then provide the linlk. I read through earlier posts and didn’t find a clear answer. I even found Reddit threads where people are asking for a link and your response is "the link has been posted before many times". It feels intentionally unhelpful. Just share the link again or point people to the right one—problem solved.

Like many players, I use CurseForge to install addons. It doesn’t require knowing anything about file names or folders. There’s no need for the passive-aggressive tone in responses when people are simply trying to get help.

If answering these questions is frustrating, that’s understandable—just don’t respond. But acting dismissive or irritated toward those asking valid questions isn’t productive. If this is something you cannot do, perhaps you should just delete the thread and do something else.

20th Anniversary link

Ok so lets look at the evidence
You installed the Era client
You added addons to the era client.
If you look in the wow directory it says era
When you load the game, you run the era client.

So when you see
Era, Classic or retail. What do you think it is? Seeing for some reason you think Classic mop.

Then why is the install folder World of Warcraft\_classic_era_ then?

You do not play retail or classic, so why you taking classic when you know you play the era client?

Oh passive aggressive tone? You know what I do, to people that accuse and assume and act the victim? I get Cvhatgpt to reply. To prove that you will still accuse me. Never fails.

Just like you say no information and never said what you want and then expect it to be known.

But seeing you want to come at me.

You know the client you run.
Then you act like, omg I do not know if era or classic.

I personally cannot say about that software, I never heard of used it. I use notepad ++

Its seems like the first one is totally wrong.(maybe use wrong password to decode at the wago.io, as 10+ years program told me that the valid WA string should at least including "(" and ")" char.)

I did a fully copy and paste but something oddly went wrong.
