Something weird is happening, I have reinstalled my VM with MicroXP, now sometimes it won't restart the LoL client for some reason, and I didn't have that problem with a clean XP.
The bot should press OK if you have everything on english, but it takes about 30 secondsQuote:
"Another instance of the launcher is running"
Heyho, the bot mostly works like charm. Unfortunately sometimes the launcher completly restarts. More often the launcher can not get started because the "... instance of the launcher is running".
I do not know why there should be another instance, since the game is closing before. But at least you may can implement an automated press on the button "OK", to really start the Bot.
use the game.cfg given in the first post which is [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]Quote:
uhm i kinda have the same problem as some here. The games dont last longer than 7min...they always finish at about 6:10 or so. So i dont get xp. how can i solve this? Has it got somethin to do with the bug that i cant lock my screen on the char?
Yout have to set the file to Read-OnlyQuote:
i actually used that game.cfg but just du ensure i inserted it again and again every single vm was set back to "medium" and "fullscreen" graphics...
EDIT: Or is it wanted like that? i just thougth low graphics and borderless would lead to a better performance...i dont have any perf. Problems i just wanted to test this out for others that dont have 24 gig of Ram ... what so ever it seems to work now lets see what the next night brings. [last night it was running perfectly but every game lasted only 6:10 so i didnt get xp xD]
Thanks a lot!!
install it once and make linked clonesQuote:
I'm having tons of errors trying to install LoL in Virtual Machine, are you guys installing drivers, .NET, Visual C++ and all stuff in 5 machines by hand?
The problem is that i can't even install one :(. I'm copying "C:/Riot Games" Folder to a shared folder with VM (I use virtual Box) then to the C:/ of the VM,I install .net and finally I execute LoL. I'm having the "direct3d" error. Thanks for helping :DQuote:
install it once and make linked clones
here is what i did:
(note: u do NOT need .net 3.0 or 3.5 or 4.0..... 2.0 works FINE.... also u dont need to install directx, if u have xp prof sp3 at least)
install windows (xp prof sp3 english)
install vmware tools
install .net framework 2.0 SP2 (NetFx20SP2_x86 -> google, download from microsoft site)...
install lol and update it (on c:\ in the VM)
make settings (no screensaver, set for best performance, assign swap file etc)
if everything is done: power off VM, snapshot it, create 5 (or 7,9) linked clones
-> profit :)
