i got this probleem

when i try to start server i get this error

what i need to type in the gameserver.opt

GAME DB INIT error : login failed for user rappelz_game
and if i change rappelz_game to sa i get this error


microsoft visual c++ runtime library

runtime error!

programm : the location from the the captainherlockserver.exe

this application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way
please contact the application's support team

Change rappelz_game to sa

Set the ownership of the databases as sa

Set your password for sa in the databases

Hash your password for the gameserver.opt with the DES hash tool

Compress your gameserver.opt with the Rappelzcompress_v2.exe to create a new .eop file

Restart your servers.

All of what was just explained is written in the guide.

First, the amendment to the file gameserver.opt after this open rappelzcompress then pull the file gameserver.opt inside it after that you must turn on the server if you do not know how to modify the gameserver.opt place it in your next.

How much ram do you have in your server?

Your gameserver.opt passwords are all incorrect as you left them with entries.

Arcadia account name: should be "sa" unless you set a new owner for arcadia as "arcadia_account_name"

There are so many wrong things I don't know where to stop.

Please post your gameserver.opt so I can edit it.

Just fix the following...

S console.port:4515
S console._password:

S db.game.ip:127.0.0.1

S db.c.name:Arcadia
S db.c.server:127.0.0.1
S db.c.account:sa
S db.c._password:

S db.user.name:Telecaster
S db.user.server:127.0.0.1
S db.user.account:sa
S db.user._password:


Password protect "sa" later with the DES tool by pyrok if you want some security.

If you want good security create new log in owners for all the databases and password protect them with the DES tool.

i get this error now from auth failed connect

You didn't start your auth server, of course you can not connect to it if it is not running.

After i solved my last problem next one appeared:

As you can see when i click confirm on server i got disconnected from the server.

Another thing loading max item index 1 :

This problem appeared once before i changed something in my gameserver.opt but i dont know really what i've done or maybe thats because i have changed the capitanherlock.exe
