Why install it that way?

It is an addon, do you strip out any other addon? If the answer is no, then clearly no reason to do it.

People could not extract a folder and overwrite.
People would delete the old folder (I never said to) then they wonder why the guides they deleted are not there. When they deleted them.

It is the most easiest way, extract to the addons folder.
I have no idea how people cannot do that. Every other "addon" they do, so why can they not do the same thing.

So you d not say what the issue is.
Probably using the wrong software.
Just post that you cannot extract it.

Did you look up the issue?

When i download the guides for the addon where it says extract to addon folder when im trying to do that nothing happens ? like it says Error: 0x80004005 Unknown Error ? what im a doing wrong ?

Extract it with Windows extractor that is known not to extract .rar> Post to the forum what the error is.
Someone has to look up the error code to find that the wrong software is used > Replies back to the forum, the wrong software is used

Instead of you looking up the error because it is a Windows error and getting an instant solution.

They do it with every other addon, so why can they not do the same thing?

Why would anyone in the past 21 years of addons, put an addon inside an addon and expect it to work?

That is like installing photoshop inside photoshop and expect it to work.
Oh, people do not do that?
Well people do not put an addon inside an addon folder do they? No.
So why people do it?

They get told what to do and then do not do it.
Then they do something wrong and wonder why it does not work.

Seriously if people are like that in real life, not going to be a good one.
