I don't know if I'm stupid (Probably the case) But what is this ''RXP Leveling'' folder everyone keeps talking about, I can't find it anywhere.
Did you check the first postQuote:

Did you install the right guides?Quote:
I'm not sure if it's the same issue that others have reported:
Fresh MOP classic install. No other addons. No saved variables.
Installed only Zygor and it doesn't show up at all.
Removed Zygor and installed RXP Levelling and RXP Guides
Rested XP addon loads and works, but the only guides that show are 1-6 valley of trials, 6-10 durotar, 10-22 Azshara and 22-27 Ashenvale. The Unused Guides section shows the other race beginner areas.
I also play Era and the RXP Levelling and RXP Guides addons work perfectly there, so I don't *think* I'm doing anything wrong.

People keep on saying they cannot find it
Did they check the first post? No
Well that is why.
Anywhere? It is 1 place only.
Did you install the right guides?
People know what game they are playing.
Take the wrong guides and wonders why it does not work
I think so:Quote:

See my reply to the OP for what you should be doing. You need 2 folders in your addons folder, you get them from 2 links on the first post.Quote:

Followed the guides installer, it took me to ''https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/restedxp-guide/files/all?page=1&pageSize=20''
I downloaded [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] and it gave me this [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] but nothing to do with ''RXP Levelling''
I want to play MOP and it is in the classic folder not era :)
Did you delete the saved variables that I keep on saying? Most people do notQuote:
I think so:
I clicked the "Leveling Guides, extract to addons folder"
I download and extra Mists of Pandaria.rar
I have a folder named "RXP Levelling" which is in
/Interface/Addons
RXP Leveling folder contains "RXP Levelling-Classic.toc" and a folder named Classic. Classic folder contains 2 LUA files: Custom(1) and Custom(2)
So you went to the addon. GoodQuote:

So you went to the addon. Good
So did you download the guides?
Yes, from /WTF/Account/<myaccount>/SavedVariables.Quote:

They show up, but are they enabled?Quote:
Yes, from /WTF/Account/<myaccount>/SavedVariables.
Deleted any RXP and Zygor ones.
I'll try it again now and double check.
EDIT:
1. Cleanly logged out of and exitted WoW
2. Restarted PC
3. Deleted both Levelling and Guides folder from Addons
4. Deleted any RXP.lua files from /WTF/Account/<account name>/SavedVariables
5. Logged in to WoW (just checking addons not in list at character select screen)
6. Logged out of WoW, exitted Battle.net launcher
7. Installed RestedXP via curse link from 1st post
8. Downloaded 'Mists of Pandaria.rar' from link on 1st post
9. Extracted mop rar to addons folder.
10. Addons folder now has both 'RXP Guides' and 'RXP Levelling" folders
11. Open Battle.net launcher and log in to WoW
12. Both addons are showing in character select screen
13. Rested XP addon shows up automatically
14. Right clicking addon only shows the beginning levelling guides, nothing beyond Ashenvale zone.
yup, both addons are enabled. Rested XP loads and I can see the starter zone guides, but none of the others.Quote:
They show up, but are they enabled?
You are playing classic mop?Quote:

I tried to ask chatGPT for help, but it wants me to rename folders etc and I think that's going to cause more problems than fix them :D
edit: i found the cvars, deleted them and installed the newest update and its working. thank you againQuote:
How so, when it exactly the same installation for the past 21 years
Did you even check that you installed it fully with 7zip and deleted the old saved variables? Seeing the old one are for cata.
Just like any softwareQuote:
