The background however... To make it calm for the eye and simple to follow; I think white is perfect for this kind of design, I applied other colours and it just didn't fit imo but thanks for the amazing feedback!

As always, I'm only seeing the bad shits in designs. Even mine. "mys fvl bad"

As a simple look on the website:

1. You created a small bar, decreased its visibility and joined it to the rounded top-header (Navigation bar) "ctrl alt g I mean"
2. You used kinda noob style in the register text itself to look like its inside the button. Try to remove the outerglow of the text and it will be better.
3. There's something that I learnt from your post "the old post about fvl pain" and I suddenly found myself mashing the colours without an organize for it. You, used the main render as an official render. so, It must be render-like. You've to use yellow-gold colours always. I see blue too much which does not totally fit with the design.
4. Adding small texture/brush to the circle area @ login/download now won't hurt.

Otherwise it's kral one. (simple but kral)

- Which bar are you talking about, if you're talking about the navigation bar, it's meant to be like that. I don't like the style most of the menu bars users create in the SRO SCENE, my designs are focussed on simplicity, simple designs is what i'd like to see more on the SRO scene and that is exactly what I want to achieve.
I don't know if you have seen any other design I made, probably not as I mostly don't reveal my designs.

Color matching is something I always look at, that is way in the header I use "gold" and in the content I use light/blue to make it more relaxed for the eye of the user, if i'd use gold/yellow for everything it would be to much like I mostly see so I think that part is good.

Like I said before, the register button is "cheap" rather than noob style. I don't like using layer styles for anything, this design is actually an attempt to see if I can work with these styles, I find it useless and way to over-used.
The register button will be changed if I feel like doing so but I agree that it looks kinda "shitty".

As i'm not a fan of layer styles, I am also not that big of a brush/texture using.
i'd rather keep it very simple as that is my style and changing that will make me deliver shit designs.
I've been working with photoshop since 2004 and never felt like overusing the styles/brushes.

Another thing, you asked for the font.
This font only really applies to simple designs, the font name is Segoe UI which is the font Microsoft uses in windows 8.

Forgot to mention about the colorization: You should use hue/color balance next time. It fixes the colors in psds as fuck. Only if you know how to use it, You may create a better design than your current. and you'll see the differences by yourself.

CS7 is indeed cracked, I don't see the need to upgrade yet haha so I think i'll pass on that one.

I tried the Hue/color stuff when I 1st created and it didn't fit.
Once again, this is a simple attempt to try a few things, I do not really want to finish this or release this.

Synxtra shows us a work in progress, and you keep giving negative critisism while you can't do any better, then you wonder why nobody likes you anymore ;)

I actually like the new design, but he's probably one of my most favourite designers, he also designed the venture website

Am not giving negative points. Am advising him! And I think he understands what I'mma trying to say.beside, I like it myself because it's simple. I like the mini-simple/too much colour. Otherwise, no shit. and his one was decent even more than "venture" website.

Anyone knows what's going on with Myth?
They are delayed be more than a week now and i dont believe it's because of the forum that needs to be finished.

I would like to try out this server but it's like they don't really give a shit anymore.
90% of what's left of the private silkroad community will, or would have joined, that server anyways.

Thanks Nezekan, the critics are fine as long as they're civil, it's sad that the Venture site didn't reach it's full completion codewise but we can blame the shitty community that do not want to play a server where botting is forbidden. :(

I do not agree on the this one being better than Venture site, the Venture site may have looked even more simple with basic colours but the details and time put into that site is nowhere near this design, I would've probably made some stuff different now but I think the Venture site is way way better than this one.

And about that Hue/Color, it's not 99% because there are tons of examples where it doesn't fit, sometimes it's good to leave stuff like they are.
Adding to much effects can be ugly sometimes..

I wish I change my logic from too much colour to simple but, fuck me. I love that too-coloured shit. And, am planing to create new one. but gonna be nearly 3d-website. each element will be done in c4d. <- the part that almost sro desigers are forgot about. I did not see anyone using c4d nowadays with sro. while it will be totally awesome!
