I have something weird, when everything is installed:

Windows server 2003 x86 R2 SP2 updated.
Oracle 9i x86
- All tables are imported via sql plus
- RPGWT and SERVERCONFIG are imported via sql plus also (it's like plsql)
- IP adress and password databases are ok.


When i launch Alefloginserver.exe, it works perfectly fine (receive all queries on LAN with the first Celestia client ever made) but it doesn't create accounts ...

AlefRelayServer.exe works fine and start fine.



The only problem is Alefserver.exe who start and stay alive for a loooong time with that text:

SSE2 enabled.
StartServer()
StartProcess()
OnRegisterModule()


But after it close himself without error ... ?!?



Visual 2010 C++ is installed, with redistributable.
I have also setup support for non unicode programs in chinese republica, so it's not about names.

try to disable internet connection and start server

Umm i have a problem when i run the loginserver it loads all obj files and closes, then i run relay server and it says StartServer() and then closes, then when i start AlefserverA it gives me

SSE2 enabled
Startserver()
Startprocess()
Onregistermodule()
Step 3 pass!
Step 4 pass!
g_Agsmservermanager Initthiserver
Step 2 failed!


What do i do?

Disabling internet connection mean that i cannot connect to oracle database, because i have put ip adress like: 192.168.1.xxx

It's for LAN connections. (Server and Oracle are on the same machine) but if i left 127.0.0.1 on ip adress, normally i can't connect the client from another machine than the server ...


So disabling internet connection will solve nothing ...


@Mustlord: Did you made changement for non-unicode language in regional language options => chinese ...

sorry i maybe miss something (i dont read the thread) but why not emulate (vmware on .iso linux) with a second network card ?
so u can have virtualy 2 computers with 2 different connections.

Has anyone actually got this to work? I am very thank full for this tut Micheal but can you yourself make the server work and login to it with a client? Or is this as far as you got?
