Yeah, we aren't going help on that anymore, it would just be repeating ourselves.

I tried the dll it did nothing

i did everything and the server is online but my client is stuck in auto patch dont know what to do please help first time doing this and just wanted to try this out thx

god not sure how old this post is but. make a shorcut and put in the properties line right after the location "blacknull" minus the quotation marks in the location line btw...
make sure the shorcut is to the game file not the autopatcher or the begining play file

Properties line should look like this kinda
"D:\ZOclient v1002\ZeroOnline.exe" blacknull
make sure your "worlds.dat" file doesn't have spaces removed from it! it needs proper spacing to work.. <<i dont get it either but a wrong space hangs the client and crashes it

Okay so Thanks to the guide and some posts after the guide I got my accserver and stuff working :P

This may be a total noob question but... I can't run the client.

I've tried creating a shortcut to zeroonline.exe and adding "blacknull" at the end, the end result made my computer run extremely slow to the point where i was forced to hold the power button.

The second thing I tried was deleting AutoP.exe and renaming zeroonline.exe to AutoP.exe and starting play.exe to see what happens, the end result was the same as the first.

So by now Im thinking maybe while extracting my computers antivirus deleted a necessary file in the client so I excluded the folder with all my zero server stuff from my antivirus, put the .rar file in my client folder and extracted from there. Now this time I was like im NOT holding the power button again so i started up task manager to get ready to end the process and the end result was the same as the first and second one. Except thanks to task manager I could (slowly) end the process and save my computer.

Could I get any tips on this please? I did google search this and didnt find much.
Btw I'm on vista.

From my understanding either you have to low of RAM or you don't have a worlds.dat cause if your shortcut worked *and idk if you saw the login screen or not but if not make sure you have a worlds.dat other then that i wouldn't know without pics or more details if you want you can add me [Only registered and activated users can see links. What's the point, no one actually sets up a working server, those who do last a couple months and quit, and post here demanding a db in English. All the public release db is, is a db that needs to be dumped and replaced anyway with all the flaws in it.

i don't know what your talking about the db link isn't dead it works just fine your net more then likely is an issue.
i just tested it so yea it works fine
