You're not really doxing yourself, you give more information to random sellers when you buy something online from the likes of eBay or Amazon (they have your address for example, which we don't ever ask you for).Quote:

While it is true that we ask for ID, we only ask to see the photo, name, DOB and ID expiry date. We encourage people to cover everything else up and you can even put a watermark over the image that says something like "only to be used on 19/01/2022 by proofcore.io" for peace of mind.
We're unlikely to change from our verification system, but I can assure you, I personally check the applications myself and not even our staff can see them, so you don't need to worry about anything.
