[Guide]CoEmu v2 Source Setup

OK, I got the server started and all. Just one problem. Every time I try to log back in the client exits out suddenly?

i made all the steps in the tutorial and i cannot run the server why? i start first the game server and starts to load and then the programs closed what can i do? pls some one can help me?:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(

so when i started my server i got this at the end: (MySql.Data.MySqlClient.MySqlException: Access denied for user 'coemuory'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

the server then crashes right after that.


this is my databaseconnection:

i double checked the password and that was it, however in my users i dont have a coemuory, do i need to make one?

Simple - you're not using the updated EXE that you made. You're probably going into Debug when the new EXE is being made in Release.

I'd recommend you go into Properties and change the output folder to Debug (for now)

Use navicat, and use:

In database name: conqueremu Not coemuorg ore something,

coemuorg Wil be----> conqueremu
Go Navicat(localhost/phpmyadmin)----> create new database.

Database name> conqueremu
import new database.. And Voila...

I followed this post a while back and my server was runing fine for a while but somehow i fucked it up. when i log in now im instantly disconnected and it says "Disconnected from game server. Please log in again." can some one pls help me

This problem appear to me when i try to go to Phpmyadmin

It clearly says your not using a password to connect to MySQL, so i can only assume you got your username and password wrong.

and btw, my problem is not the server name in the server.dat

site ip is an ip the game IGNORES



Also you must connect using 127.0.0.1 to your own server.


Change site_Ip to something different (eg 123.123.12.1) and then try connecting to your own server using the nano ip (127.0.0.1)


You CANNOT connect to your own server using the external hamachi ip you entered. Also having same ip for SITE as you do for game will cause it to ignore the ip all together (also please ensure your server.dat is using the name for the 127 ip or it wont work)

Hmmm, how would other people connect to the server? what all do they need?...
