Shaiya Private Server - Instructions - English

yea i tried that with the other private servers thing
euroShaiya doesnt work, he has a modified data.saf file so it causes some extra errors
evolution shaiya had a clean ep3 download, but i still get skill messing up

so idk

So clean EP3 does not work? That killed my hope :( Seems we must wait for EP4 database, which can take years...
Another thing i found today, I tried to play multiplayers om my server, and found that I cannot see other players name and weapon. Well if they unequip and equip again I can see it, but some time I see a helmet that they did not even have.
Hope we can get a better database soon ...

yea you have the same exact problem i have
and idk but it isnt working with ep3
and i tried a couple different versions between 40 and 51(which ZS said only to 51)
which took awhile bypassing gg everytime

so anyone have a clue whats wrong?

I dont know about your problem but the server files ZS posted work fine for all, i think you must look in other way because i have 0 problem with items, 0 problem with other player, I can say it work perfectly, the only thing where i got and still got problem is a guild, I have followed all Twilight instructions, try all way but the guild after i restar server gone, also the strange is when we open guild on game with 7 player like regular I dont have any infos on guild.dbo table , I got only some infos on GuildChars.dbo.
Guild and starting GRB are killing me... I lose tons of time for it and still no success... also forum ra ge zone is off now and it wont help

what client should I use for connect on the server?

ImortalPain do you use the latest game client from Aeriagames, and exact same database as posted in the first post in this thread?

i did everything what zerosignal said in his tut.

following problem:
when i start all services, they start BUT the session one, it stays at pause


if anyone can help fixing this i'll be very happy and ready to give karma to the one helping out.

hey i might be working on getting the skills updated to ep4 (will try to at least)
but ZS i was wondering if you could repost that sdata extractor so i can mess with the skills (once again cant get to r agezone or i wouldnt ask)

anything i get to work i will post back here

PSM_CLIENT\bin\log\*.ini

post them here and i can help you more then :)

and when i run " PSMServer_ServiceMgr.exe " a windows appear with (S) PSM_AgentServer

and Uninstall,Install, Start and stop Option !

i cant get the green X when i open the config

Run " PSM_ServiceMgr.exe", not " PSMServer_ServiceMgr.exe"

sry i know i sound like a nub but..
there are no logs :/

here is what i did:
1. start PSM_ServiceMgr.exe (in PSM_CLIENT)
2. start PSM_ServerMgr.exe (in PSM_SERVER)

after doing so, i click on "start all server services" in the menu
they all start but 1 sec later "Session" gets to pause again
and around 10 seconds later all others get to pause too

Still no logs :/


btw. i got the same SQL server error while doing the 1st step with Install.bat

LoL you got same error as I got in the beginning. The problem is that your database server does not have 127.0.0.1 as address. when you create your SQL server instance DO NOT use your own name, but use the default instance name. Then when your SQL server is up, use SQL serve studio to login to your server, and the login address MUST BE 127.0.0.1 otherwise you will need change a lot of files in the shaiya server package to make this work. GL!

yea i would say just like linus said, try that

my server was running fine , no problem at all, i shut donw for 5 min today and when i restar im not able anymore to log in game, after I have chose server I got error " Failed to connect to the game server " and i dont have changed anything!!! this making me crazy, I ahve reinstalled all and still dont work, all arrow are green and fine, game start but still have error, please help me I really need :(
