You're the one who started it. Saying editing by hex and now you are saying emulate.

Emulating hackshield's heartbeat is not something that can easily be done. If you can do it and you don't want to share then please just refrain from posting here. It's not helping.

Lets come up with some theories, (note i have no experience in the hack world just some logic's)

No1) Crash happens due to client - hackshield communication (in which case must be something added with the update that should be found out and disabled)

No2) Crash happens due to Server asking client for hackshield ( must be some way to run hackshield and pause it at its state ? )

Yeah like i said don't flame me, i just hope maybe my way of thinking helped someone out there see something they missed (like they say what you try to solve is usually right under your nose)

i think this new update has some scanner or so.. it scans every 5 mins .. and when we have no HS on our process it will close automatically..

Actually rag2.exe is requesting hackshield to preform a file integrity check every 5 mins on rag2.exe to make sure that it isn't altered. So the trick is to design a program that can relay the correct checksum of the said file.

is it possible to make the client stop terminating the process? i'm trying to find intermodular calls using Ollydbg, but all i can find is Kernel32.TerminateProcess calls.

I'm thinking of making the last rag2.exe to work because it works without hackshield. It seems that they'd added a check on the new rag2.exe. Though, it's hard to find the version check to nop. Too many version strings. -_-

I took the old rag2.exe and changed all the version string inside, game loads fine, but there is another file or something preforming some kind of check because it says something like "Could not connect to server" when I try to get in game. Wonder if there is a .dll called that is trying to check the file hash or size before it allows the login. Hmm will have to look at it more later when I have time.

That was a server client check I believe.

What am I currently trying was asking crc checking on saved cem. It should be working fine as theory but somehow it doesn't work out. I am suspecting probably it was my cem error. I will attach the script and cem when I get home.

Some people will never tell if they know how to bypass HS since they thought it will be fixed

i have tried a lot of tricks in bypassing hackshield and then i gave up. i've already written a lot of Ro2 bot in different languages, Visual basic, C++, Java, AutoIt, Assembly. I have tried as well multiple macro recorder. Sadly, all of it failed. HS faithfully detected it without fail <1 to 5 minutes interval>. And then i realized how on earth can HS detect my bot. If I am the programmer of HS how would I detect the macro? And then I finally arrived a new script that can fool HS. Not enough testing because of time constraint but getting a new light now, its running without getting detected for 20 minutes already as of this writing.
