isn't that for new characters only?, and that exe doesn't include new classes.

dont worry about create new character just big problem is Wrong World
04/20/2012 02:45 BioNicX#156
Im not, i don't care for them at all, im saying you only need sp_char_create for new chars only, but decima was saying it as an example.

SP is needed for alot of stuffs.
I been looking on that alot the last weeks.
Stuffs like bags, skillbars and so on are also in SP. So we need to add the missing stuffs there aswell.

also in session, cast, messanger, login.
then its another exe we are missing.

Yea,, There is still alot of stuff to fix.. I am not sure but even the mavric system (and things like that) using the SP to get the right char and user account
04/21/2012 02:46 BioNicX#162
Maybe we can try and add em like using the old onces as an example.
04/21/2012 05:39 Decima#163
actually mssql has a way to trace what queries are being called to it, could help piece together what its looking for and such, i know they are mostly called as an SP, but it sends parameters expecting a result, at least we will know what its sending in and code a new call from that, just have to try and foresee what its wanting versus what its giving . . . if that makes sense.

So im thinking sniffing packets is required.
04/21/2012 07:25 Decima#165
no.

im talking about the profiler that comes with the SQL server, start a trace and it will log all calls made to it from the server, some are just queries, which will give you some insight to the structure, to see if its changed, most will be SP calls tho, but those too will have variables passed to it which may give you a clue as to what kinda of information you are returning, so that you can write an SP appropriately.
