Actually there is a way to make a server crash so badly that the only way to fix it is replacement or the reinstallation of any hardware but i doubt that ZSZC suffered through this massive attack since not everyone is skilled to make a server crash so badly... And if someone of this community know this kind of stuff should be attacking bigger company's instead of a single private server.

Btw, the name of it is PDoS (Permanent denial-of-service attack) google it if you don't believe me.

PS: Massive DoS attacks can also damage Rams but not the Hard Drive since the server is receiving lots and lots of request that the server by itself collapse by just damaging some parts of a computer (Rams) but i don't think that a massive DoS attack can fuck up a Hard Drive, at least i haven't seen cases like that, just rams.
It's like the Blue Screen you get when your computer is overloaded but even harder.
