If you cannot read or follow 1 instruction of the extract to the addons direcory. I suggest you do not use the file. Seeing it is clearly too complicated to extract a folder into a folder.

Hi, thanks for your response. I downloaded RXP and also the Leveling Guides. Should I put the second one directly into the AddOns folder, or does it need to go inside the RXP folder?

Hi again, I downloaded two files: one is the RXP addon from GuideForge, and the other is a pack of three guide files. When I try to open the guide files, they give errors. I put them directly into AddOns > RXP > Guides. I also tried using 7zip but it didn’t help — maybe I did something wrong. Do I need to import them in-game or do anything else to make them work?

So you downloaded from Curseforge that is a zip that windows or 7zip can extract
For the guides, you go to the link, select what you want and then download, then extract to addons

It should not have any errors.

If one, then why download all? Do you expect to play Classic and Retail guides on Era and know they do not work

Hey! Just wondering if there is a changelog somewhere here to see if and when something is updated.

For example. I know naowh was creating his MOP weakaura's. I am patiently waiting and hoping someone shares it so you can update it.
Right now I am refreshing the download folder, but is there somewhere else I can see changes made?

To make it easier for you.
Check the upload date and it the upload date is new, download and then just scroll to the bottom of the file to see if it is updated.

I now realize from what you just said, that i downloaded all the files as a folder, instead of the single one i needed. Which is why im getting a .zip file.

Which you never state at all in your first post. You have zero guides on how to do any of it. You just assume everyone should know exactly what you know.

To everyone whos trying to figure this out after to me. And cant figure it out because the guy just wants to belittle you and not explain anything, but instead just go:

1.Download RXPguides thru Curseforge

2.Open the link this douchebag kindly provided, itll bring you to a file download site.

3.(I couldnt figure out downloading just the file i wanted (ERA), but i did figure out how to do it by downloading the folder)
Download the folder (TOP RIGHT YELLOW BUTTON)

4. Open that folder with and up to date WinRAR

5. EXTRACT the file you want (ERA, Classic or Retail) to the ADDONS folder of the correct game version (ERA, Classic or Retail)

5.5 If you are playing the 20th Anniversary server that's ERA, not CLASSIC.

NOW. In the addon folder should now be two separate instances of RXP folders. (RXPlevelling, and RXPguides)

Thats it. youre done, youre free from this madness.

That took me less than 15 minutes to provide a step by step guide. thats cohesive, and simple for a neanderthal to follow.

I was about to buy the guide because no matter what I've tried, I could not get it to work... but decided to try again one more time and found this comment. Thanks to this guy, I was able to finally install it (after 8 failed attempts). The other 1000 pages on this post wont help you, but it's fun to read all the insults against people simply asking for help.

I did everything correct, every time. Removed addons and saved variables, but my fault was that I was installing the "Classic guide" while I play Anniversary. Even though the leveling limit is 60 and the entire game is played in the classic world, it's not classic.
If you play Anniversary, you must download the ERA guide instead.
