Hello I can't seem to install RXP, always used your version, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong this time.

MOP Pre-patch

- Removed RestedXP addon
- Cleaned my Saved variables in Account and my character folder
- Installed RestedXP addon
- Downloaded Rxp Leveling Classic.rar
- Extracted it to my Addons folder and not to my RestedXP folder so I have both folders RXP Leveling and RXPGuides in my AddOns folder
- I tried doing it 2 times, using WinRar and 7zip both up to date

Hopefully I did everything right ? Unless this is only supposed to work in MOP and not during Pre patch ? I'm not sure

That is an issue with the addon.
When you did you download the guides, it is the recent one?

I downloaded the guides 15 minutes ago, on the link it says the file was Uploaded: 05.07.2025 14:37

You delete the files and it just puts them back

I'm not sure what you mean exactly so I tried doing everything from scratch again

- Deleted Addon using WowUp
- Cleaned my Saved variables
- Installed Addon using WowUp
- Closed WowUp app
- Checked if any files were added back : 0 results for RXP in my entire _classic folder, apart from the Addon itself, so everything was deleted properly
- Downloaded RXP Leveling Classic.rar
- Extracted to _classic_\Interface\AddOns

Still get the same errors

You are installing an addon
I say updater because it updates addon
We are only speaking about addons, but when I mention updater people have no idea.

Well you delete the saved variables and the updater just adds it back because it is running.

Well the toc files is obvious, isn't it. You are not running TBC so it would throw an error
As for the functions that is because of the addon.

The only updater I have on my computer is WOWUP and I said in my previous post, I checked manually as well as using CTRL +F, no saved variables were added back, when I launch the game I have no saved variables of RXP anywhere

So here is what I did : WowUp is not active on my computer , I did go ahead and deleted the saved variables with no updater running and I still get the errors

I know the error is because of the addon, but if I launch my game without the RXP Leveling folder, I get no errors

Did you found out what the problem is? I am having problems aswell. In my case I see no guide ingame and having error messages.

I installed the RXP guides for classic, and in-game I get an error that says:

Error trying to load a guide already parsed: RXPGuides/82-83 Deepholm
Error trying to load a guide already parsed: RXPGuides/40-45 Eastern Plaguelands
Error trying to load a guide already parsed: RXPGuides/80-82 Mount Hyjal
Error trying to load a guide already parsed: RXPGuides/47-50 Searing Gorge
Error trying to load a guide already parsed: RXPGuides/84-85 Twilight Highlands
Error trying to load a guide already parsed: RXPGuides/83-84 Uldum
Error trying to load a guide already parsed: RXPGuides/77-78 Scholazar Basin
Error trying to load a guide already parsed: RXPGuides/75-77 Zul'Drak

Yes to fix it do as follow:

First go to your RXP Leveling folder
- Open RXP Leveling-Classic.toc
- Delete these lines :

--- Classic/TBC/1-80-Custom
--- Classic/TBC/1-80-Horde
--- Classic/Mists/Custom (1).lua

Well that is resolved.

I was adding TBC, Wrath and cata to work in the addon. But seeing all people did in general was complain. I resolved it and will not have that extra guides available.
