Zygor Classic | Retail & Other Addons

Just dropped the RXP Leveling ERA! into Classic ERA Addons Folder, for classic 1-60. Now I'm going to test it.
I was having problems with it as in it wasn't showing at all at first because I was dropping the folder into the Classic (which is Cata) Addons. Then the penny dropped and it's working now

So, I did 100% EXACTLY as you said. The "RXP Leveling" FOLDER is in my addons folder. I did this after completely removing RXP, including the SavedVariables and any old folders that were left over, and reinstalling RXP fresh, and even after following every single step, the guides are still not appearing.

You do not say what you extracted it with.
I say that, because people intentionally use what does not work and then make post after post that it does not work.
Also you do not say if the updater is running.
I say that, because you delete those files and the updater will just restore them.

Either the media downloader for Zygor is messed up, or the folder is corrupted. tried downloading the file multiple times getting a error message, that it lacks permission to be opened, tried other ones like rxp etc, and those works fine.

It's fine for me, unrared using winrar, no issues at all (as always).

There is no such thing as a media downloader, you download by a link

Oh the problem that you use the wrong software. That does not extract the file.

So instead of using 7zip or Winrar or any other ear extractor.

You say that windows extractor. The software that does not extract rar files does not work.
Myra the problem is that you are using the wrong software that does not work.

Hi, i have no idea what im doing wrong, i read through some pages of this thread and still can't figure it out

I'm playing classic cataclysm btw

After installing RXP i tried:
Overwriting the content in the guides folder with the extracted files;
Deleting the entire guides folder and making a new empty folder with only the extracted files;
Adding the extracted files to outside the "classic" folder;
removing the files from the "classic" folder and adding it to the "cata" folder (that gets created by default);
Putting the files in the main RXP folder;

Nothing worked, keep in mind that i did a fresh install after every attempt of these

I don't know what else to try, it was supposed to be a simple copy paste but i guess im missing something...

Sorry if this was already replied to, but from what i read i couldn't find any solution

You went to the link, did not read and guessed what to do.
Then you read many pages, instead of clearly what to do.

You took the link, claimed you knew what to do. Did more than 5 things that I never said to do.
But you never read the first post that the link is on?

Can you please direct me to a post where you said what to do? i checked over 10 pages and couldn't find it (and it isn't on the main post)

I also tried, and was the first thing that i did actually try by the way, to just extract into the guides folder, which would be the logical way to approach

if i'm doing something wrong, can you please give link me to the post where it mentions how to actually do it? you're beeing hostile for no reason. Believe me, i'd rather not be posting an issue either and just get it to work first try.
I get it that it may be frustrating to write the same fix over and over, but wouldn't it be easier to just update the main post with a clear step by step instead?
