Zygor Classic | Retail & Other Addons

Hey, I just want to start by saying thank you for everything you do.
Without you, many of us wouldn’t have access to these guides, and for that, I’m forever grateful.

That being said…
I consider myself computer-literate, but for the love of everything holy, I cannot get RXP to work past level 20.
I downloaded RXP via the Curse website (not the Curse launcher), deleted all saved files in my WoW client—hell, I even did a full reinstall.
I extracted all three folders (the ones you linked) directly into the AddOns folder and didn’t delete anything...

Is there something I’m doing wrong?

You did not delete the saved variables?

If so, yes—I’ve deleted those. I even deleted the entire folder just to be sure.
But if there are other files I might’ve missed, if so could you please let me know where they’re located?

What did you extract it with? 7zip and winrar are free.

Yeah, this is a brand-new PC—I got it maybe a month ago.

I’m honestly really confused. It’s probably just an issue on my end and not a problem for users overall... maybe I’m just being stupid, lol.

Well this is what I tell people

Delete the addon, delete the saved variables
Run the game
Install the addon
Install the guides
/reload

This is because you delete the saved variables and the updater is running, it just restore them.
But people ask what updater, when is is updating the addons? Well the updater that updates the addons.

Well, for whatever reason, I just couldn’t get it to work—so I’m throwing in the towel (for now) and using Zygor to level up instead!

Nope—I closed the game, deleted the add-on and saved variables, launched the game, extracted the add-ons again, moved them into the AddOns folder, and did a /reload.

As I said, is the updater running?
You delete the files and it puts it back again.

2nd. i didnt accuse you per se of doing anything, but security systems are alerting me when checking 0-10 million, gold-secrets, hexigames, dereks-gold the files are contaminated/contain "not good" files as well.
3rd I already did "shop" around on yt for said information, but it only comes in mealpieces, sometimes 2late, or not at all.

If so, yeah, that’s open. But if you mean the Curse client, that’s completely closed—I haven’t been using that at all.

So, you're claiming that 0–10 million gold is considered a "virus"—yet it's just a copy of the original?

"No security vendors flagged this file as malicious."

So what does that say about your detection systems, exactly?

As for the gold guides being "too late"—we’re talking about a game that's over 15 years old. Of course many gold-making methods are older. That said, there are plenty of current YouTubers still putting out updated gold content for free.

I had compiled a list of over 430 YouTube channels and gold-making websites. People kept asking for it, but when I finally posted it? Zero clicks. So I removed it. No point keeping something up that no one uses.

You are updating an addon
I say the addon updater because it updates adddons

No I did not say Battle.net client because that does not update your addons.

Well it is looking like the files are not fully extracted. 7zip is free.
