Yeah, that's an issue with Classic and TBC leveling in general. You can either start one guide earlier, even though some might be grey but the process gets more streamlined afterward, or just grind your way through the current guide until you catch up at some point. I'd recommend the first option.

About which programming language to learn, well that depends on what you want to do with it.
My first programming language is C#, I chose it as my first language because I wanted to get into game dev, to work on game projects with the Unity 3D game engine, and because I wanted to make programs if there ever were something I needed. I basically wanted to learn a programming language that I could use to make all sorts of things, so I went with C#. It also looked the easiest syntax wise :-)

But yeah it really depends on what you want to do :-)

I would take a guess that is it not fully extracted?

As I said, it looks like it not extracted fully. Is your software up to date?
