Okay i appreciate you doing and finding it but when checking the guides with notepad i cant find the adventure mode 70-80 was it not included by mistake? if you did include it where can i check for it

Hi ive managed to find adventure mode on one of my old downloads and managed to enable it
i had to copy the guidelist-mainline and retail-starter-custom.lua over to the current rxp and it work ive attached a screenshot of me having the menu

How I installed it? same as every previous versions, add the guides into the guides folder. Extracted both with 7z - WinRar, same results. Deleted all files, tried re-installing RXP through CurseForge, set to ignore and only update manually; deleted savedvariables, opened game, added files (guides), /reload. Tried doing it outside the game as well with no success. Did the exact same process with 4.6.6.1 version with zero issues, worked first time.

Hi Wesley you don't copy the guides into the guides folder you copy the whole RXPguides folder into the addon folder in the addon folder you should have the RXPguides and RXP as two separate add ons then it should work

Was the updater running when you ran the game?

Reason is, you delete the files so it creates new ones.
Instead it restores the files you deleted and back to square one.

I have the same issue. Installed the guides on to my PC exactly the same way as I did with my laptop, but only the 1-20 free guides show up on my PC. Maybe RestedXP have patched it somehow.

Well I have the issue with people not saying what they have done.

They say it does not work, but do not say what they have done or if the updater is running.

It is patched? So how is it working for me then and others?
Also they are custom guides, so doing exactly what the Devs said to do.

Hey, I know you keep saying people are not saying exactly what they have done. But like many people on here and other forums, people who have installed this add on before (and it worked perfectly), now nothing.

Usual stuff. Deleted Cache and WTF folder, no other addons installed. Launch WOW and join server. Installed RestedXP using Curseforge. Download and used WinRAR to extra the RXP levelling folder to the ADD ON folder for wow classic.

My laptop is working perfectly as I installed this months ago. But now I want a fresh install on my PC and cannot get it to work. So, maybe they have figured a way to patch new installs of the downloaded (not paid for) versions? Who knows but this form and others have many recent reports of this installation no longer working.

Why do they not say they had it before? Oh that would indicate that they have been taking the file, say nothing and now only say because they cannot get what they want.

I say is the updater running because it keeps on restoring the files.
So far for 1 week, no one wants to give an answer on that.

Just keep on saying it does not work and does not even answer what I said.

I have commented because yes, I cannot get it to work like a lot of people. 99% of people would not say anything once downloaded if there is no issues. Same with people leaving reviews for products they buy online or for movie reviews, people (like myself) only comment if there is an issue, to highlight the issue and hopefully get help :)

I have tried using difference versions of RestedXP from Curseforge, and cannot seem to get any of them to work properly. Manual update is turned on. Even with the newest version on my laptop, these guides work perfectly. But now I want a fresh install on my PC, it does not work weirdly.

I have only just come across this forum after trying to get it on my PC after playing on my laptop.

It feels like when people get what they need, they don’t say much, but as soon as something isn’t working, that’s when they speak up. It’s a little frustrating because when a solution actually works, no one really acknowledges it.

I’ve asked questions and sometimes even get no replies, which can make it feel like people aren’t really following solutions or putting in the effort. When I share advice or instructions, some people just don’t follow through or don’t even read what’s been posted.

For example, on the forum, someone kept saying something wasn’t working for three days. I gave the same solution five times, but they just asked for it to be repeated without actually reading the responses.

I’ve suggested solutions a couple of times, but I’m not sure if people are even trying them. When it works, there’s silence, and when I ask something, I often don’t get a response either. It’s a bit discouraging.

Unfortunately that is life mate, which sucks! But yes, people not listening to you when you offer help is frustrating.

So I ask you a question and your reply is "Unfortunately that is life" because you and others do not want to answer it.

7 days of asking, is the updater running? No one answers and I asked you and you do not answer either.

Why do I ask? You delete the files and the updater restores it.
I say that and people do not read it.
I ask is the updater running and nearly 8 days of asking. Not one person has answered it.

You did not ask a question. You were saying people only comment when it does not work. So I stated, that is life.

Try ask more clearly, what updater? Curseforge, wow, windows updater, my iphone updater, some other program?

I said I have the RestedXP set to manual update.
WOW is not updating.
Windows is fully updated.
My iphone (and ipad) is fully update, FYI.
Other programs, hundreds of them, so be specific.

You keep going on about this updater and no one replies to you, maybe because you are NOT BEING CLEAR ENOUGH.
