I was wary of installing something which could be considered malicious on a new account, so named it as a mimic of another popular addon used on forge, just in case. Just in case anyone else had run into the same issue as me, it was fairly easy to figure out, I just downloaded the Zygor Guides Updater, added the file path, updated, and was immediately good to go. @Hyrper well if you do not trust it. Do a virus scan on it.
So you renamed it to mimic another axion. When the files inside that addon. Will not read that file name.

So doing it your way, it would never work.
Even if it did. It would do the same result, if renamed or not.
Seeing the addon is looking to run off the original file make and you changed it.

I never have heard anyone rename it. As they know if they dud. It would never work.
When all you had to do was extract it to the right location.
The updater does the exact same thing.

People have suggested and I told them how and it did not happen.

How do I fix the LUA error when using TBC Classic? It makes errors every time I change the steps to the next stage etc.

I would make sure the addon it fully extracted. As so far, no one else has had any issues.

Thanks for your amazing work. I have one question though, does the dungeon map preview is a retail only thing or I can't figure how to use it? I select the dungeon guide but instead of the map it shows only a big X sign

It does not work in instances areas. It shows that because it does not know your location.

I extracted it with WinRAR, then straight into the Addons folder, is this the correct way? I still seeing the Lua errors, sorry if I am stupid or missing something super obvious D:

Hi there, I've been using the Zygor for ages now and I want to thank you big time for all the updates and effort you put into them so far!

I'm going to start playing WoW Classic again, also going to try TBC.
Which leads me to the following question: Can I use the Zygor TBC addon for both Classic and TBC? Or are they 2 separate addons?

So I have got to the 2nd to the last segment of Zygor's guide (Felwood) and it's telling me to go to through the Dark Portal... I'm not even level 58 yet and can't enter. TBC hasn't dropped for me to even do that. Is this a bug in the guide?

Edit: I had to switch over to RestedXP guide

Pretty normal, as it is based on what you are doing and not XP %

Like in Classic, you cal do all quests and not be 60

Yeah, you're 100% right about that. Luckily RestedXP has me doing some quests I haven't done yet. So I should be good up until level 58. When TBC comes i'll be ready for Outland
