I said IF you're from those countries. If you're not then you are clearly stuck with the crappy SEA version. :) Nexon is and always has licensed the NA regions. You can't expect them to allow all countries in, since they only got licensing for those countries..

and why would that be? not everyone is satisfied with the open beta NA at the moment. Exp rates,drop rates, etc. Some times private servers bring more enjoyment to the game in my opinion.This is coming from a person who has played almost every official server of MMO's and then found a private server of the same game. FF11,RO,this game. Broaden your horizons...private servers are better communities,period.
